    Wow!
I like all three ladies dress looks, and as for the head bling...Mamma mia! Those are some gorgeous head sparklers.

  2. The Swedish Royal Family treat us for a second time this week with the Nobel Laureates Dinner! Repeat gowns have definitely dominated this year's festivities.

HM Queen Silvia: I love the color of her Majesty's dress. Her whole look is very elegant tonight. Given the high neckline i wouldn't have worn the necklace but that's my personal preference.

CP Victoria: The Crown Princess looks very pretty tonight. We previously saw this gown at the wedding of the Crown Prince couple of Jordan. Her brooch is stunning paired with Connaught diamond tiara (another favorite of mine from the royal collection).

Princess Madeleine: I'm glad to see the princess wearing the Napoleonic Cut Steel tiara again it matches perfectly with her dress. The Vasa Earrings are so pretty.

All of the men look very handsome. Princess Sofia was definitely missed.

Nice gowns, the Q and CPss almost the same color. I like the gown from Pss Madeleine, but a bit too low cut and way too much gold. She can carry it off well.

I think the real problem with Madeleines outfit is that back and gold do not go together however often people do it, it almost always looks cheap. Black and silver do look wonderful together. Gold and warm colours like beige, brown, orange, yellw etc. always look very chique together. It even applies to jewelery silver coloured jwelery like white gold, platnium, silver or even stainless steal look much better on black than gold does. Gold fittings on handbags etc. often look cheap too. Silver coloured is so much better.

Belle robe mauve pour la reine.
Victoria est très bien aussi, mais le rose vif n'a pas ma préférence.
Madeleine semble en robe d'été. Le tissu lamé lui va bien.

The Queen is my favorite here. Next is Vic. Mad's dress ... ? I like the idea but something is wrong with that waistline.

    1. I agree about Madeleine´s dress. Something´s wrong, and the overall result is disappointing. I think the main problem is the material of the skirt. It´s meant to look like molten gold I guess, but it looks cheap, flimsy and flashy. Not an attractive material for a gown. It might also be quite heavy, and the absence of any support causes it to drag everything down: the bodice looks low-cut, the waistline is too low and the hem drags on the floor.
I did wish for an updo for her yesterday, and I like today´s hairstyle indeed better. Her make-up looks a bit harsh though.
Silvia and Victoria both look fantastic. 10 out of 10.

The napoleonic steel cut tiara is divine on Madeleine. Her gown is probably quite nice but compared with her mother and sister, it is less. Interesting how their gorgeous gowns look completely different colours in several of these photos. I think the more vibrant is true but I would have preferred the muted tones.

Madeline for me is stunning here! Just a gorgeous woman and well able to wear such a low cut dress. Vics smile could light the entire palace but this dress colour for me is a little too much. The shape however is lovely and simple. QS lovely too.
    Love the jewels!

  11. Silvia looks absolutely wonderful! Very regal! Victoria looks beautiful in this colour. Her smile is captivating!
As for Madeleine: her skirt looks like aluminium foil. And she shows too much skin, as if she's an attention seeker.

Another great showing by the SRF! All three looks are working and I’m dying over the jewels and tiaras. The Q and someday Q are looking regal in somewhat coordinating colors, but I will always favor Victoria’s hot pink gown. Love the bright color and design around the shoulders. M’s dress is a departure from a big gown with heavy fabric and I think it’s a great choice. And it’s elevated with the perfectly paired tiara and earrings.

It has been a treat to see all three royal ladies over the past three days, the gowns, the jewels, they have all looked splendid. However, am I alone in feeling for Princess Sofia who has been missing on all three occasions but who I feel would have equally shone had she been here??

  14. Tout de suite, je dis oui pour Madeleine qui porte son diadème en accord avec la couleur or de sa robe ; pas du tout fan du style de ses boucles d’oreilles !

I love Madeleine's outfit. Her tiara looks sensational. Her diamond earrings are quite beautiful.
Victoria looks stunning. Love her choice of jewels, the brooch is stupendous.

For the first time the Napoleonic steel cut tiara looks wonderful on Madeleine and suits the best with her golden skirt. I like that Madeleine isn't afraid to try new styles and she has figure to carry off this dress perfectly. And her hairstyle was the best! Well done at both events!

  17. The Swedes rarely disappoint in the jewel department. Except for the Connaught Tiara, they are busting out their Napoleonic heirlooms once again, which are always quite a sight to behold. Princess Madeleine in the Cut Steel Tiara, perfectly matching her gown, looking really fab. The gown as such might not be my all-time favourite, but she certainly can pull it off. The old-rose-coloured dress is very becoming on the queen, and CP Victoria in her repeat hot pink Safiyaa number a very reliable sight anyway, with the variation of wearing different tiaras to give it a new vibe.

Queen Sylvia looks much better with a column dress (narrow dress) than with a dress having a wide skirt (like the one she wore for the Noble prize ceremony and the banquet). Looking at the pictures of ceremonies which took place when she was much younger, the dresses with wide skirts were looking good too, but not today anymore. Something Queen Camilla should think about too. She would be much more elegant with gala dresses in column style.

CP Victoria and Princess Madeleine do not wear a necklace with their tiara.
Queen Silvia on the contrary always wears a big necklace together with a tiara and sometimes big earrings too.
I think this is the difference between the younger generation of princesses and the older queens like Queen Silvia. The older generation still thinks the more the better. The younger generation thinks less is more. I am 78 but I agree with the younger generation, too much is too much and rarely beautiful.

What on earth is Madeleine wearing? She went fra fab to drab. Victoria's dress is the winner, but the styling is aweful. Silvias purple is to cool for her. Would have been smashing in a warmer colour, but bet they had fun anyway.

Sofia is on maternity leave, you know the one women in the US don't really get 😉

    3. @Ruthie, Sofia has nothing to be ashamed of because of that phedophile. She has never been alone with him and didn't accept his invitation to his island. There was an incomprehensible woman (Barbro E.) who communicated with that despicable man.
I was sure someone would want to bring this up, but if you are american, just look around you...
And as Coralie and anon at 08:05 said, she is still on maternity leave, but she has participated in other, shorter events with her family.
