From Drottningholm Palace, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden wished everyone a Merry Christmas through newly released photographs. The photos were taken by Royal Photographer Sara Friberg on the grand staircase of the palace. The royal couple’s new dog, Bonnie, also appears in the photographs. The King and Queen traditionally celebrate Christmas at Drottningholm Palace.
Nice Christmas atmosphere photos. The royal Christmas cards were in general very disappointing. All in summer with summer clothes. Imv The Monaco royals were the best with their traditional card
ردحذفI loved the happy family photos. It’s probably a bit of a trend towards reusing a nice photo taken during the year. I prefer that warmth and joy thdn the highly stylised Monaco photo which felt cold to me.

ردحذفThe castles in Scandinavia are rather dark. And with their climate during winter it is getting very quick dark in the afternoon already. Difficult to save electricity in such a dark period. I hope they have led lights everywhere which is better to save energy.

The Queen looks beautiful in this red festive pantsuit. It fits beautifully, very stylish and elegant. Love the brooch, a nice addition.

ردحذفTheir beloved dog Brandie died a few days ago. They had her since 2015, I believe. They now have Bonnie, same breed as Brandie. Nice photos, love the bottom one of the king & Bonnie. ~~Ruthie.
