Sweden’s Queen Silvia celebrates her 82nd birthday today, December 23, 2025. She was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on December 23, 1943. On the occasion of her birthday, the Royal Court of Sweden released a new official photo of the Queen. The photograph was taken earlier this year by photographer Sara Friberg. The Queen’s birthday is a general flag-flying day in Sweden and is also marked as an official salute day. Queen Silvia is celebrating her birthday privately with her family.
