On December 9, 2025, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie hosted a reception at Berg Castle for members of the Luxembourg Army and the Grand Ducal Police who participated in international missions and peacekeeping operations, as well as for their families. Minister Yuriko Backes, Chief of Defence General Steve Thull, and Director General of the Grand Ducal Police Pascal Peters were also in attendance at this traditional reception.
Natan Citrus Maxi Cape Dress
She looks lovely in red. Not particularly fond of this dress, though it suits her. Natan uses a lot of fabric that just doesn’t make sense to me. The look on the model and the duchess is very different, can’t say which is best.

DeletePar contre il me semble que le principal défaut vient de la ceinture nouée : elle fait trop décontractée, comme une robe d'été toute simple. Peut-être qu'une ceinture dorée, en métal ajouré comme un bijou, dans le même style que ses boucles d'oreilles, aurait donné une allure bien plus raffinée, surtout pour une réception.

The color is good but the waistline sits too high for GD Stéphanie. Maybe other sleeves would have been better. These cape sleeves are making her silhouette broader than it is.

DeleteThis cape-thing does nothing for her, as does the knotted belt of the same fabric. However, the colour is beautiful on her. Good to see them throwing a reception at Berg Castle.
ReplyDeleteThese receptions are coming back year after year. In Belgium and The Netherlands they also take place during January and February.
DeleteIn Luxembourg and Brussels there are so many international organizations which are invited at the beginning of a new year.
Stephanie’s hair looks beautiful and the bright color of her dress looks nice and festive. The cape portion of her dress is not my favorite, but overall she looks lovely.

So eine junge und sehr schöne Großherzogin und beim ersten Blick dachte ich sie trägt ein Umstandskleid, beim zweiten Blich habe ich mich gefreut ob sie vielleicht in guter Hoffnung ist. So schade, das sie scheinbar keine gute oder gar keine Beratung an ihrer Seite hat, vielleicht wählt auch ihr Mann aus, wer weiß. Im Zweifelsfall würde ich ihr immer wieder Marina Rinaldi empfehlen. Da steckt viel im Detail in den Schnitten, es sind wundervolle Stoffe und sie könnte blind in ihre Schränke greifen, weil alle Modelle immer sehr bequem sind, aber sie muss sich wohl fühlen. Hier mag ich die Haare, ihre natürliche Ausstrahlung und nun gut sie kann die Farbe rot tragen, aber sie könnte so viel besser. - Dorothe -
ReplyDeleteThe color is gorgeous. To me the design of this dress appears to add bulk to Stephanie, when it is not there if that makes sense. I don't feel the style of this gown suits the GD.
