King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are undertaking a state visit to Suriname. On the evening of December 2, to thank President Jennifer Geerlings-Simons for her hospitality during the state visit, the King and Queen hosted a cultural performance at Thalia Theatre in Paramaribo. Dutch singer-songwriter Sabrina Starke, who was born in Suriname, performed songs from her repertoire together with Surinamese musicians.

ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss for words except "be still my heart". This is so beautiful, pure joy to look at. A sari , basicall a long broad scarf made of exquisite fabric just draped around her, without any further complications, the high art of being simple. One of her best outfits or me, style, colours, her arms :-) . perfection.
