Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the Norwegian Girls’ Choir at Ruseløkka School

On December 2, 2025, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the Christmas gathering of the Norwegian Girls’ Choir at Ruseløkka School in Oslo. In the midst of the Christmas concert season, the choir met for rehearsal and a house concert, with Crown Princess Mette-Marit present for the warm and festive occasion.

The Norwegian Girls’ Choir is a choir school for talented singers aged 6–26. The training programme is organised into four choirs: the Recruit Group, the Aspiring Choir, the Main Choir and the Studio Choir. Crown Princess Mette-Marit serves as the choir’s official patron.

    Interesting necklace on MM. A locket or other jewellery piece on a short piece of ribbon rather than chain.

      MM is wearing a vintage Victorian Mourning Locket on the pink band. She likes to make a statement with her jewelry so probably a meaning behind this.

    I think worldwide almost every young girl has long hair separated in the middle.
    When I had that age only a few of my year had long hair in a pony tail or braids.
    CP Mette Marit is looking fresh and healthy. I like the trousers she is wearing very much. The color burnt orange does not disappeared yet in fashion land, but I see it less frequently in the stores and boutiques than during last Summer.
