Princess Ingrid Alexandra takes her studies and before that her service in the military very serious. She is always working or studying. I hope she will have a pleasant break now with the Christmas Holidays and wish her a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. A real asset to her family and country.

Princess Ingrid, Princess leonor, Princess Elisabeth really put the work in to prepare themselves, they are deserving of the thrones.

@06:24, the three princesses you listed are not the only ones who have "really put the work in", as you say, to prepare themselves for their future roles. All current heirs have done so. Princess Catharina-Amalia, Prince Christian, the Prince of Wales have all already done so (in the case of Prince William) or currently doing so (in the cases of Prince Christian and Princess Catharina Amalia). Christian is currently in military training after his gap year, and Catharina Amalia is juggling privite military training (she will be a military reservist, and as others have said countless times military training is not a requirement in the netherlands for a future monarch) and her law degree (her second bachelors degree).

With Prince Charles being the only heir not pursuing military training since he is a 5 year old child and yet to be declared "Hereditary Grand Duke".

Paloma.

They look great in their casual dress. Her cowl neck scarf is a pretty blue. I prefer when her hair is not pulled back so tightly, though I understand it is appropriate for this occasion, hard on the hair.

To me, she always looks so much happier when she's dress like this instead of dressed up in evening gowns and a tiara.

    1. You are absolutely right @anon at 22:05, but how many times have we seen her in an evening gown and a tiara? Perhaps two or three times, she is in her twenties 😉.

Can't compare two so different occasions with totally different rules.

    3. At "Anon 19:42" Um, yeah, I can. It's called, "compare and contrast." Besides my point was that she seems happier when she's performing more "casual duty related" activity as opposed to formal events. And age doesn't necessarily have much to do with it. I know young women her age that LOVE dressing up and putting on "bling" as well as those who don't. It's about individual personality. I think there's a bit of old fashion "tomboy" in her and that's neither good or bad - it's just who she is.

Helen, is there any information on the brand of coat, and cowl neck she is wearing? Thanks.

    1. @18:39: I added the jacket the Princess wore, along with its brand, below the post. The trousers she is wearing are likely from the same brand.
