King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are paying a State Visit to Canada. On November 19, 2025, the King and Minister Ebba Busch attended the Sweden–Canada Innovation Days, held at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. The Queen visited Nunavut Sivuniksavut College, a school that offers programs aimed at empowering Inuit youth through academic education, cultural connection, and personal development.
The King and Queen took part in a meeting at Ericsson’s research and development center outside Ottawa on the digital transition. In the afternoon, the Queen visited the National Gallery together with Minister Ebba Busch. In the evening, the King and Queen hosted a dinner for their Canadian hosts at the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel in Ottawa, a historic landmark in Canada’s capital city.

ردحذفHM Q Silvia’s white beaded suit is so pretty on her and I love that length skirt with the cut of it. I think this is a bespoke length because the designer shows it in a mini.
ردحذفThe Queen’s evening dress is so flattering to her. The cut is wonderful, and the color suits her brunette coloring perfectly. It looks better without the wrap, but I get that it’s already quite cold in Sweden so the wrap was needed.
Canada. The king and queen are visiting Canada. But it's cold there as well, of course.
حذفBelle robe du soir pour Silvia ! J'aime particulièrement la couleur améthyste, ainsi que le col châle et le bouton-bijou à la taille. Le châle cassis est joli aussi.
ردحذفLe tailleur blanc (ou gris argent ?) me plairait mieux sans les ornements ajoutés qui me semblent de trop (peut-être des perles, on ne voit pas bien) et sans l'encolure lavallière, évidemment.

La reine est élégante. Quoique ce tailleur ne soit pas mon préféré.
ردحذفLa dame qui est à ses côtés sur la deuxième photo est tout aussi élégante. Je dois avouer que j’ai une préférence pour ses choix vestimentaires.
La robe de soirée de la reine est d’une somptueuse couleur. Mais j’ai une préférence pour la robe de la dame située à la droite du roi.

ردحذفOhhh, I would have loved to see her wearing the Amethyst earrings with this dress, what a miss! Part from that, she is lovely. Ms Busch is enjoying every moment in the spot light, it seems.
