She looks fantastic. Interesting to see wider shots like these to see how many security guys she has and how they allow her a somewhat free walk while keeping a close eye.

No problems in Spain about security..even Amalia from Netherlans has been living in Madrid safety.

There can always be problems for very famous people in crowds. I think I see three security men here, and I think that’s about right for a queen in an exhibition hall. We’ll rarely see just one in this case.

You forget that CP Amalia from The Netherlands lived in Madrid under the protection of her godfather King Felipe. I can imagine the King provided security for her when she wished to go out.

Yes the do go out and about which is fantastic - but they always have security, partly to help keep them some space so they can enjoy it and not be too closed in by eager selfie hunters!

      Why is it Big NO????

    2. Anonymous7/11/25 18:54

Why MR? For me it’s a normal, comfortable, casual stance for a rest at a big exhibition like this when talking to someone.

Some explanation would be helpful when making a such a strange statement. It is amazing how many things people can come up with to criticize.

I find it unbecoming for a Queen. You never see anyone else doing that while carrying out a public engagement. If at a brew pub chatting with friends or on a hike by all means, but I find it lacks decorum. Just my opinion (I’m old school) MR

I agree, Letizia is the queen of Spain and is performing her public engagements and should not be speaking with someone with her hands in her pockets, it is not even polite, let alone regal.

Anon 17:27...the "decorum" is doing the best for the people and not wasting their money...you have an example in France...
By the way, It is not a public engagement , she is out and about in Madrid.

Why do you think It is a "public engagement"?..She does not live "in a Palace", if not a House very near of the Centre of Madrid and she usually goes where she wants..shopping, cinemas, small shops...even by Malasaña...you can she her many times..

Impeccable.
