  1. Excellent! Much better than yesterday’s over the top coat. This is how you wear an interesting collar and not with a navy lace jabot over an already very busy black coat. Kate should learn from Letizia

Comparing two completely different situations does never make sense.
      1. Princess Catherine was on the yearly very important remembrance ceremony of Armistice held in the U.K. which requires black clothes from the members (male and female) of the royal family. To me the jabot was made of black lace but that is not important. Like every year Princess Catherine is wearing a black coat dress with military details to remind us of the enormous number of soldiers who gave their life to save us from the enemy Nazi Germany. Personally I don't like these military symbols, but that is what British people are more or less expecting from the members of the BRF.
      2. Queen Letizia met Chinese university students who are learning and studying the Spanish language. King Felipe and herself hosted a reception for the Spanish people who live and work in China. Queen Letizia is wearing a burgundy business pant suit with a black blouse underneath and black accessories which is quite appropriate for this visit.
They each did what was expected of them

    2. There were people here who liked Catherine's lace jabot. Who should they learn from? From you? :-)) This "X should learn from Y" is so ... condescending.

    3. A disturbing comment. Catherine and Letizia were in two very different situations. There is nothing to compare. As stated above, Catherine was in black mourning dress for a memorial, Letizia is visiting students. Catherine has nothing to learn from Letizia. They have individual styles and what is appropriate dress varies from country to country. I happened to like Letizia's floral Carolina Herrera coat yesterday, so I can't agree with you on that point either.

    4. Princess doesn't need to learn from Queen Letizia or anyone else. I can't understand the reason of such a malicious comments. We are all different, we don't need to be the copy of someone else's styles . And I simple don't understand why someone have to compare them, always-almost - having as reference, if they sympathize more with one over the other

Please do not exxagerate. Nobody is malicious here. Just someone who is not aware of the difference of one situation where a solemn and respectful attitude is required and another situation meeting young students and other Spanish people who happened to live and work in the country which was visited by their king and queen.
It is only human that we admire more one queen and king because they correspond more with what we expect of royals or what we recognize and compare with our own country. It does not mean that we hate the other royal couples, they just appeal less to what we like or do less correspond with the habits of what we are used to in our own country. Signed anon. 18:08

    6. If an overdone black coat plus a navy jabot is how you judge respectfulness to the occasion, that’s your opinion. Saying Kate wore lots of bling to show respect to those remembered seems at odds with Kate’s own choices in previous years, when she had very suitable and less blingy clothes. All I was saying is Kate was overdoing the details on her neckline. Letizia looked classy. Unless Kate’s jabot had some specific significance, it did nothing to help reinforce any message of respect for anyone. Which is true and has nothing to do with the person, just the attire she chose (or was chosen for her).

  2. Her clothes always fit so well. I would of preferred a different coloured blouse, I find this too somber.

    1. ¿Un mensaje? , En realidad Letizia sabe el lenguaje de los sordomudos, ya lo ha usado más veces.

  7. The pantsuit looks great but I don't like the top inside because it's dark against dark and there is no contrast or interesting pattern.
