On November 13, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a dinner at the historic São Brás Market building in the Brazilian city of Belém. Built in 1911 to accommodate the high volume of trade generated by the Belém–Bragança Railway, the market remains an important cultural landmark. Queen Mary’s visit to Brazil on the occasion of COP30 concluded with this dinner, where she and Brazil’s First Lady, Rosângela da Silva, served as guests of honour.
The dinner also included a presentation of a Danish–Brazilian project working to promote sustainable gastronomy in the Amazon. The project brings together chefs, farmers, and local stakeholders with a focus on biodiversity, local ingredients, and food culture. The evening’s chefs came from several countries and represented different professional perspectives on sustainability, culture, and innovation.

ردحذفI am drawn to the First Lady's Marimekko Juhlia Tumma Dress. I love it! It is more to my taste than the ETRO. Mary looks wonderful. This dress fits her beautifully. The print is interesting and well placed. I notice that when certain royals wear a neckline like his, it is considered too low cut by some, but when Mary is the one wearing this neckline it fine. Just an observation.

Mary is always the protagonist regardless of her fashion choices for the most part. She certainly carries herself with a dignified and natural aplomb. MR

The dress is another example of an original, artistic and creative design. The pattern is skillfully placed to accentuate a woman's figure - the neckline, the waist and the hips. But at the same time it does not look overwhelm the eye or go over the top. Mary has the most interesting wardrobe of all the royal ladies IMHO and she looks great.
ردحذفThe dress is beautiful on Mary but she has several dresses in the same style and has worn them very often. It depends on where you are during the year. Here she can wear her summer dresses again, back home she will have to wear her winter clothes. Maybe you find her wardrobe interesting because you like her style. Other women might like the wardrobe of another queen of princess better because their style correspond better with what they like.

حذفIt is quite a lot of eye makeup, but for me, not at all too much. As for the V neckline: If I may mention Marie Therese of Luxembourg: she loves deep necklines, but if someone's breasts are naturally of a size that they are pressed together creating a real crevasse between them, then I may call it too much, too suggestive for a royal woman. But nothing of this kind of heavily "loaded" appearance is the case with Mary. She has excellent taste, and exactly this makes the difference. She looks adorable.

حذفI thought we didn't discuss body parts anymore. Comparing Maria Teresa and Mary is the same as comparing apples and lemons. Besides we cannot compare royal ladies either, they have each their style and the circumstances are not always the same (cfr. comparing the Princess of Wales and Queen Letizia of Spain (yesterday 13/11/2025)).

MT was just an example for what I meant that the very same feature can work very differently on two different women. Not because one is better or more beautiful than the other, simply because they are different. Body parts: Mentioning body parts is not the same as criticising body parts. You cannot avoid to take breast size into consideration when talking about a deep décolletage which is evidently there to display at least a bit of it. - If you will go this far, we cannot say any more that Charlene's body height allows her to wear outfits that would be difficult for others ... so let's not be absurd.

QM looks quite fetching in this Etro dress. I like the playful earrings,not normally a QM choice,we usually see Maxima in this style of jewellery,but it’s a nice change for QM.
