Non penso ci voglia una grande forza per fare ciò, soprattutto quando ci sono persone che si occupano di lei tutto il giorno e a tutte le ore, giorno e notte.

    2. Agree anon at 15:41. Of course there are many helping hands, but it still requires strenght to go to various events almost every day and some times to several appointments on the same day. It also requires a lot of familarity with matters concerning the meeting in advance. I admire a lot all these 75+ ladies who are fullfilling their "jobs" without complaining and always having a friendly smile on their lips.

This was a nice occasion and blue really suits the queen.

I think that the queen looks nice. Does Queen Camilla have a personal dressmaker who sews her clothes or does she buy from designers?

    1. Most of her dresses are created by the dressmaker Fiona Clare. They all have a very similar design.

  3. Oui elle a vraiment trouvé son style et le décline de maintes façon. Je l'admire aussi d'avoir endossé par amour pour Ce harles la lourde charge de Reine

  4. This dress looks much better than the other blue dress she wore lately. The dress has a beautiful neckline but why she created a mess with 2 necklaces and 2 broches ?

    1. I like the cluster of brooches. It is a whimsical look when they coordinate, like these two do--a bee and a butterfly. Brooches are making a big comeback and are being worn in fun ways. Julia Roberts has been wearing several on neckties and I love the way it looks.

I agree with you that the necklaces are too much and I am not sure what the round button is about. They distract from the brooches. I don't know if Camilla knows clustering brooches is trendy, but this is the best part of her outfit for me. The dress and boots are more of the same.

Je pense que le "bouton" rond est soit un pin's soit un autocollant sur lequel il est écrit RCS = Royal Commonwealth Society (qui organise ce concours). Paloma.

  5. Looking excellent, Camilla shines with all things literary. Love the dress and boots, which seem to work so well for her. And the insect brooches!

  6. Lovely insect broches, but the 2 necklesses peaking in the middel are so strange, why is the wearing these as well?

    1. Because she likes them.

  7. She looks lovely, but the butterfly brooch would probably would have been sufficient.

    1. I agree. It is not because it is fashion one can wear several brooches together. One must take into account the style of the dress or top. I inherited several brooches from my grandmother and of a niece of my father. Women with excellent taste. Each time I wear one of these brooches on a simple sweater, blouse or jacket, I receive compliments of women much younger than I am. In the meantime I read wearing brooches is in again, which does not mean I wear brooches each time I go out. Sometimes I wear one thin necklace, sometimes a bigger one, sometimes a brooch but never 3 pieces of jewelry on the same top (I always remember less is more). Besides if you wear one beautiful and valuable piece everybody has seen it and they ask me where I bought my brooch or necklace. If you wear several pieces of jewelry around your neck and face, nobody sees the beauty of the jewelry, they only see that there is a lot going on.

  8. J’aime beaucoup ce modèle de
robe dans un style qu’elle sait décliner - Elle ne manque pas de porter ses bijoux fétiches de Van Cleef & Arpels dont les boucles d’oreilles et le bracelet !
