Pretty Sofia, though I don't know where that uneven hem comes from, I don't see it on the model. That would be my only little quibble. Or almost. Because I am just so saturated with royal ladies' hair waves here, there and everywhere. So thank you Victoria and Charlene, for seeing more of you and less of your hair.

I think the fabric is clinging to her leg which gives an uneven hem look. That is the problem with non lined/ no slip light fabrics. I agree with you about the mermaid waves and the long locks.

    2. Oh, I do so agree about the long hair hanging down--and it's all ages. I like this dress on Princess Sofia as well as the dresses of the other two ladies with her in the third photo.

The dress does not have an uneven hem. The skirt is moving because she is walking down the stairs. You can see that it is a straight hem in the first photo.

It’s not an uneven hem, it’s a hem in movement as she walks. I think she looks beautiful. Gorgeous colour and style and her hair so healthy and bouncy, smile so generous; which is all very beautiful on a mum with a new baby starting to return to work. Only good things to say about this appearance.

The dress has not an uneven hemline. On the picture next to these of the model the impression of an uneven hemline is caused by the lightning. What you see is a shadow behind her.

Anon 9:56 Do you really believe that all long hair is really hair extensions? You can't be serious.

  3. This Greta gown looks superb. The hemline is even, I think its the material clinging to her leg. This gown fits beautifully. I love the style and cut of this gown. The color suits her beautifully. She really looks great. I love the same colored clutch and light beige shoes, clever choice.

  6. Sofia looks beautiful in that dress. Very lovely and rich colour that really suits her. So nice to see her again. So sad that she will not participate the Nobel evening, but very understandable. Perhaps we can see her participating in some occations in those four days.

Will she not attend? That's a pity, it's one of my personal favourite moments of the year, seeing the queen and all the princesses when they look over their shoulder at the dinner table.

    2. @Damsel Dragonfly, unfortunately she will not. The official calendar of the Swedish royal house lists the entire family except for Sofia. She is still on maternity leave, so sitting at the dinner table for many hours is probably not the number one option.

Beautiful wine-colored dress for Autumn. I think the hairstyle is too little-girly for a married mother of 4. I don't like the super-long hair on any of these middle aged gals!

Hopefully P.Sofia's hairdresser will be able to persuade her into styling her hair in a helmet so she can have an elderly lady's appearance!
After all, she is a mother of four and middle-aged too!
