On November 18, 2025, the Princess of Wales attended the Future Workforce Summit, hosted by the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood, at Salesforce Tower in London. The summit brought together more than 80 business leaders, convened by the Princess to form the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce, who gathered to hear from experts in leadership, human development, and early childhood, as part of the Princess of Wales’s efforts to promote a healthier, happier approach to early childhood.

nice Blouse
ReplyDeletewho needs a winter coat with hair that much! its enough to keep one warm.
ReplyDeleteher style is a constant now!
Yes, and I think it is quite regal and beautiful.
DeleteSuperbe ensemble mais il ne convient pas vraiment à sa silhouette ; ravie qu'elle ait sorti de sa boîte à bijoux les boucles d'oreilles que j'adore !
ReplyDeleteI long for the style of young Catherine: more colour, more originality, sometimes very classic, and not those far too long curls.
Paloma.
Agreed!
DeleteI totally disagree. I think she looks better than ever!
DeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteThis could have been a well polished business look, but sadly for me it falls well short.
ReplyDeleteWhy she insists on having her hair down when a neat updo or ponytail would have looked far better, and far more professional.
Her make-up could needs to be tweaked to give her a more dewy complexion. Maybe curtail the heavy eye make-up.
The light grey suit and white blouce are not the best combination. It just wipes her out.The trouser is far too baggy on her slim legs. She’s better suited to a slimmer tapered trouser.
I know the golden rule is not to compare our royal ladies, but there is a benchmark that is set. You look at her European counterparts, and they manage to look well put together. When an effort has been made, people in your meeting see that, and it reflects a far more positive image.
We know Catherine has cut back on her work for obvious reasons,so surely when she is present,a little more effort could go into her appearance.
Lowri.
Agree 100 %
DeleteHi Lowri, interesting to read your thoughts! However I don’t think it’s fair to say that she hasn’t made enough effort. She always is very presentable and elegant, even if we don’t agree with some of the style choices.
DeleteAn interestingly hued suit which looks light blue or grey depending on light! I think it’s a very elegant suit and is paired very well with the white blouse. The first photos of her in the wind have her hair looking a bit like a lions mane, but settles back down inside, it’s just fine. The material of the trousers isn’t the best in the wind either, but sits very elegant indoors, which is after all the setting for the event. Overall a very nice and very elegant business look for the event!
DeleteLowri, I disagree in all points. I think the outfit is professional and with that blouse at the same time feminine. Classy and chic.
DeleteAnd I really don't understand why you say she does not make an effort.
Absolutely agree!
DeleteWhat do you mean by "wipes her out"?
DeleteVery nice for what it is. Whatever the interested commenters are longing for, they should judge in context and the context is her message, which is (almost*) clear: she means business, and the style is business-like. No popping colours, no dewy makeup here. We all know she can do glamour perfectly well too when it is appropriate. The Roland Mouret trouser suit could not be more elegant. Of course she is slim, but why should she try to hide what she is? More voluminous women are asked to choose so that she look slimmer, slim women should hide that they are slim? Who is allowed to stay as she is? Obviously very few. She looks perfect - *not the hair, but she obviously needs this.
DeleteWell she may be just a princess right now, but she certainly looks better than Maxima who is suppose to look like a queen and rarely does on any day. So she is exceedingly better than that "European coungterpart" I think her trousers are perfectly tailored. Her hair looks gorgeous as usual. A ponytail is not a professional look and the blouse is beautiful.

Delete“looks better than Maxima who is supposed to look like a queen and she rarely does any day.”
Hm. I think you need to see an optician. You can never, ever say that the princess looks better than the Queen.
Also - the hair is extensions.
This outfit seems pretty bland. The fit of the pants looks odd to me - the area from the waist to the crotch looks strangely long on Catherine. I think long hair generally looks flattering on Catherine, but the extreme long length with all the curls looks incongruous with her more severe business attire.

Her trousers are meant to be high waisted. Waist lines change the way hemlines change. High waisted pants are very much in style right now.
DeleteDear Lowri, I read your comments with interest. There is a sloppy vibe to this outfit. I cannot really see a lack of effort but a lack of concept. She fiddles with her hair, which smothers her and is far too long. The trousers look like empty sacks. I have the feeling that she is looking for a new direction but does not know where to go, which I understand after her ordeal. I do like the feminine blouse.

I have seen a short video with the Princess of Wales and indeed, while walking, the trousers seemed not fitting very well, the area from waist to crotch too long. Helena
DeleteI think she looks pretty good. I don’t understand the long hair choice either but it’s hers to make.
ReplyDeleteAnother boring pantsuit outfit for the POW. The white blouse is very bland against the equally bland grey. A bold pattern or vibrant colour blouse would really perk up the suit. The pants look like they are too big for her.
ReplyDeleteThe suit has potential because it looks great on the model because of the perfect fit.
Completely agree!
DeleteLadies, the trousers begin at (or reach up to) the waist and this is a big part why they look long in that area, together with the fact that there is no (visible) closure/zip there. It was similar with Princess Aiko's trousers in Laos. And that those pants look empty ... well really? Wouldn't it be a good practice to try and write as if she would read it?
ReplyDeleteOh sorry - it was not Aiko's, it was Kako's trousers I was writing about and comparing the high waist with Catherine's trousers. https://www.newmyroyals.com/2025/11/princess-kako-attends-2025-national.html
DeleteOh my goodness what ridiculous comments. Laughable really. Everyone trying to be so knowledgeable but yet for all of us it is just personal opinion. Anon 21.53 is so right. This is the Princess of Wales choice and she certainly does not look sloppy nor does she need to make more of an effort. It would really be lovely to have more informed and intelligent commentary.
ReplyDelete@Anon22:45 - It’s okay for commenters to have different opinions about fashion from each other’s or from yours. Differences of opinion do not mean the commentary is “ridiculous,” “laughable,” or not “informed and intelligent.” You are entitled to your opinion about the fashion, of course, just as others are entitled to theirs. I think differences of opinion/perspective and *respectful* disagreement make the commentary here interesting.

I am seeing the comments that her pants are too big and baggy on her. They really aren't. They are a wide leg design. I understand that they aren't for everyone, but wide legs aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I think by the time the commenters here get used to them, the style will change again. I am not crazy about this color on her, as other's have mentioned, and I don't personally like her blouse. I think a simple white button down would have elevated this business suit and a deeper shade of grey would have been more complimentary. The suit itself is very well tailored, and the pants are the perfect length. It is not spring or summer, so I am not sure why her wearing grey is problem. The comments are usually finding fault with colors like grey and black in warmer weather. I agree about her hair being too much, but it is her hair. I would like it better if it was straight (much more modern) or in a poly tail. When she wears updos, they are very severe and formal. Since I don't see her wearing a messy bun, which would look more youthful, I would rather she not wear one.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the first business clothes you buy when starting a job and don’t know your style yet. Plain, neutral pieces that mix and match…serviceable but not memorable.
ReplyDeleteKate looks nice in suit; colour good. Hair looks nice .Eyebrows look weird. Healthier happy approach to early childhood; what we are planning the jobs of the future? or this will make children happy? I am amazed; food ,a roof over your head, good parenting and education, reduction in violence and crime etc, oh and money (Tara)
ReplyDeleteLovely suit.,if the pants had been lined the fabric would not cling.
ReplyDeleteI find the Princess stylish and professional. I do like this blouse, pretty and feminine. The outfit is tailored and imo fits well. The color is a bit bland, a deeper shade would have looked more appealing, but that is personal preference only on my part. Obviously the Princess likes her hair worn out and must prefer it this length. Personally, I feel its a bit too long to wear in this style, hard to control and looks unkempt. That maybe is not the right word to describe but I cannot think of another word presently. I do love her hair up when its done in intricate styles for special occasions but obviously this is not one of those times.
ReplyDeleteYes. I heard that jabots (she also wore the black lace one on Remembrance Sunday; a choice that was heavily criticised) are making a return in fashion right now. So, she is up-to-date in that aspect. We might see pants/trousers a bit larger in the crotch area, like here, and like Princess Kako recently showed up in. Personally, it's not my cup of tea (it makes me pull up the pants constantly, trying to lift them), but when these lovely ladies seem to like this cut, then be it. All in all, I think the Princess of Wales was certainly dressed well for the occasion.
DeleteCatherine rarely misses sartorial perfection - and here again she nails it. Beautiful suit, excellent blouse, and in a way that fits in to the event without taking all the attention due to her clothes. She’ll take all the attention - but due to what de says and how she communicates. Superb.
ReplyDeleteReply to anonymous 15.27: Queen Maxima is supposed to look like a Queen but rarely does ?? So how is a Dutch Queen of Argentine origin supposed to look ?? Maxima has her own style, she is flamboyant and only rarely chooses an outfit which we Europeans think to be over the top.
ReplyDeleteBy the way: I’m very Dutch !!
