On November 8, 2025, Princess Marie of Denmark officially opened the 2025 Danish Christmas Bazaar in Washington, D.C., accompanied by Prince Joachim, Count Henrik, and Countess Athena. The royal family was welcomed by Poul Pedersen, President of the Danish Club of Washington. The Christmas Bazaar is organized by the Danish Club of Washington, which was founded in 1931 to keep Danish culture and traditions alive in the area.
Princess Marie thanked the many volunteers who have made the Christmas Bazaar possible for more than 60 years. The Danish Christmas Bazaar raises funds for local charities, including food banks and the Fisher House Foundation, which supports military families and veterans receiving care at local hospitals.

ReplyDeletePrincess Marie looks absolutely stunning in this blazer. It fits her perfectly and seemingly better than the fit on Princess Charlene. Both royals ladies have such an elegant and chic style. Rarely a style miss by either one. MD website shows their blazers very reasonably priced and well under $1,000 USD. Strange comment about Princess Marie’s ability to fund her clothes — never seen that comment about other royal ladies who wear excessively expensive clothing.

Great event (wish I lived near DC to go shopping) and lovely family. The princess is a timeless beauty. It looks like both kids may be taller than their mom….not a surprise given the height of their dad!
