  1. Love Charlene's hat but I was expecting a dress. The pants are very nice but seem too masculine with the lovely little hat! The kids look adorable altho Jacques is a little too costumy - still very cute. The rest of the family looks somber other than Charlotte and Beatrice but I don't think anyone looks as good as Charlene or Gabriella or Jacques. They stole the show for sure.

    1. I agree about Charlene’s pants. A skirt or dress would look more harmonious with her little hat with the netting.

Yes Charlene could have worn a dress to complement the beautiful hat.
Surprise that Beatrice did not wear a hat, she never puts a foot wrong!

All other ladies look lovely, special nod to Marie Ducret, she was spot on elegant.

  3. Lovely pantsuit, but somehow I don't think it is the right choice for the occasion.

  4. Such a fashion feast.
PC - Looks exquisite in her white suit. The quality of the fabric is easy to see. It looks like a double bonded fabric has been used. Her hat compliments the look, rather than distract from it. Her diamond earrings are stunning.
PG - I like that the twins are dressed as royals rather than celebrities. Gabriella’s red ensemble matches her mother’s suit
perfectly to honour their nations flag.
PC&CC- I know Caroline & Charlotte are Chanel ambassadors so I’m guessing they’re both wearing Chanel. I like Charlottes two piece.
TC - We’re used to seeing Tatiana in more bohemian fashion, this seems a little out of her usual style. It suits her.
BC - To think she only gave birth a matter of weeks ago, looks fabulous. I’m guessing she’s wearing Dior,as she’s one of their Ambassadors.
There was a mix and match from the other female relatives. It’s lovely to see Princess Charlene brother and his family also in attendance.

Beatrice 6/10 - dissapointed, usually the most stylish

  6. A lot going on here.
PCharlène: Classy monochrome ensemble. Great pant suit with an aesthetically pleasing silhouette. Maybe Akris? Even the simple white disc hat , I like. Beautiful hairstyle and make-up. Spot on.
PCaroline: A shapesless jacket and skirt. But the colour suits her.
    PStephanie: Generic, bland, and unremarkable.
Charlotte Casiraghi: Nice Chanel suit. I like her whole styling.
Beatrice Borromeo: Classic Dior dress. Pure sophistication and refinement.
    Princess Alexandra: The usual mess.
Children are normally not commented on on this blog, but the 'uniform' on the boy is absolutely laughable, clownish appearance, not worth taking seriously. So why do it in the first place???
    My opinion, you have yours.
    LLL
Tatiana Santo Domingo: Valentino dress. Nice 60's style cut, but still with a bit of her signature boho styling. It works.

    1. You know children are not critiqued on this blog, yet you did it anyway? If you had done a little research, you would know that Jacques wearing a uniform is tradition that reflects his status as hereditary prince and future Monarch. Albert also wore a uniform as a child. As Head of State, Albert currently wears a variety of uniforms.

    2. Non le tailleur de Charlene est d Armani.

    3. Yess, the uniform of the child is ridiculous and his saluting the more so as he has no military rank.
But, being a kind of Disney principality everything is for show and allowed.

  8. Appropriate looks, they all look immaculate in their own style. Also: such a big family! Charlene looks fantastic. I'd love to see more detail of Camilla's outfit.

  11. Charlene: I am completely lost for words, she looks angelic. The other beautiful angel (Beatrice Borromeo) looks like she almost always does: beautiful, simply but very tastefully dressed. I don't see enough of Caroline's outfit, but what I see is good.

  13. I find this set of photos strangely sad. Where are the smiles for Fête Nationals, or on greeting one another etc. I find Jacques looking very young in a military uniform; it looks wrong to me. As for Charlene, the hat is beautiful on her face but wrongly proportioned for her fragile body in the enormous suit. I don’t know why when we see the Monagesque royal family together that we often see this same unhappiness …or is it boredom?

  20. The first photo feels like it may be go down in history. It’s almost breathtaking in its beauty. PC looks stunning in white, clearly wearing a very well made suit and blouse of very high quality. But the hat and birdcage veil with her perfect makeup, and the blurred colors of the regiment behind, make this an iconic photo. Perfection!!!

  21. P. Charlene looks beautiful, love the pantsuit, the blouse underneath has a interesting neckline, I love it. She is wearing beautiful diamond earrings, these are gorgeous. Pss Alexandra's outfit, I don't like at all. Charolette's outfit looks good, I don't like the color of this but she looks great in this outfit.

I agree with Missy - Madame Ducruet is the most elegant I have seen her so far. What's the deal with Princess Alexandra's handbag? A little sparkly clutch would have been so much better and would have lightened the blackness.
