King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will undertake their first State Visit to the People’s Republic of China from November 11 to 13, travelling to Chengdu and Beijing. The visit aims to highlight and strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. On November 9, 2025, the King and Queen departed from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid for China.
The trip takes place on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Spain and China. In Beijing, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will be officially received by President Xi Jinping and his wife at an official welcome ceremony on Wednesday, November 12.
All roads lead to China. Hopefully we get to see a little bling from Letizia.
