On November 8, 2025, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako arrived in Mie Prefecture for a two-day visit to attend the opening ceremony of the 44th National Convention for the Development of an Abundantly Productive Sea and related events. That same day, Their Majesties visited the Toba Aquarium, where they observed activities related to the conservation of rare marine species.
In the evening, Their Majesties visited Shima City, where they viewed paintings and calligraphy created for the festival and met with people involved in the fishing industry. On November 9, they will attend the festival’s main ceremony.

ReplyDeleteI’m not a brown/beige fan - very practical but rarely actually pretty - but here’s a wonderful exception. The suit would be very neat but not massively flattering, but that scarf and its positioning and colours are absolutely perfect and bring the whole outfit alive. Imagine, just that little bit of well placed silk can enliven the whole outfit.
