On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (Reiwa 7), Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako hosted a tea party at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo for the recipients of the Order of Culture and the Persons of Cultural Merit. Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko, Princess Aiko, and Princess Kako were also in attendance.
The title Person of Cultural Merit (Bunka Kōrōsha) is an official Japanese honor awarded annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to culture. The Order of Culture (Bunka-kunshō) is conferred upon men and women in recognition of their achievements in Japan’s art, literature, science, technology, and culture.

Aiko looks lovely in this outfit, good length and flare in her skirt to give balance. Her shoes are more open which opens up her leg. Very nice choice she looks great
ReplyDeleteAll the ladies are dressed very conservatively both in style and in colour. I suppose they wanted to play it safe in terms of fashion. At least they all wore a different pastel shade and one of the collars (last photo) is interesting along with the texture of some of the fabrics (second last photo). Sorry, I don't know the ladies names as I have only been paying attention to Princess Kako lately.
ReplyDeleteThe harmony in the mix of colours of the four women's outfits is beautiful.

I love all the outfits the royal imperial ladies are wearing. I especially love the Empress ensemble, very pretty and feminine, love the beige color.
