On November 26, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria visited the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the University Animal Hospital in Uppsala to take part in the celebration of the 250th anniversary of Swedish veterinary medicine. At the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the Crown Princess presented the Grand Research Prize in Veterinary Medicine to Professor Henrik Elvang Jensen from the University of Copenhagen.
Crown Princess Victoria visited the University Animal Hospital, Sweden’s only university animal hospital, one of Europe’s leading veterinary hospitals, and a central training environment for future veterinarians. During the tour, she was introduced to the hospital’s advanced treatments and how research findings are translated into clinical practice.

ردحذفI know many of us wished that CP Victoria would ditch the frumpy florals, but we are now in a succession of very unexciting trouser suits. Be careful what you wish for! This suit. like the others worn recently, is perfectly acceptable and serviceable but....
ردحذفI quite like the 'frumpy florals', they are beautiful, remind me of spring, summer meadows in Sweden.
حذفThe suits are solid pieces of any working woman's life, especially in royal circles. So many occasions call for feminine yet professional outfits, the suits fit the purpose quite well.
I especially appreciate Victoria's ever present hair in a bun. Unlike the wife of a certain King, Victoria knows her hair may be unmanageable in all sorts of ways, so she made the choice early on, to keep things to a minimum fuss with her hair. I quite like her choice.
