On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the 100th anniversary celebration of the Friends of the Swedish Museum of Natural History (Riksmusei Vänner), held at the museum in Stockholm, Sweden. During the anniversary event, Crown Princess Victoria presented the association’s jubilee scholarships, which were awarded to Johannes Bergsten, Martin Irestedt, and Ulf Johansson.
The Friends of the Swedish Museum of Natural History (Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet) was founded in 1925 by a network of scientists and engaged citizens with the aim of supporting the newly inaugurated museum. Today, the association continues to provide both financial and moral support for the benefit of the museum’s work.

ReplyDeleteIt’s a ‘no’ to the trousers. They have to be the most unflattering trousers we’ve seen CPV wear. The jacket and the blouce are lovely,but the trousers need to be retired to the back of her closet.

DeleteShe won't retire her trousers to the back of her closet because they are fashionable. These trousers are too wide around the hips and smaller at the ankles. I don't like them myself but I see them when I am shopping at the fashion stores and boutiques. I see also a lot of young ladies who are wearing them. In some of the stores there are posters with drawings of the several styles of trousers they are selling. I was surprised to see such a big number of styles which exists today.

ReplyDeleteWhoever selected these trousers tried to follow fashion a bit too much.. Having said that, Victoria somehow pulls it off, it would have see them in movement.
ReplyDeleteYou make a good point. It is difficult to see exactly how these pants fit by one unfortunate picture. They may be truly be terrible, but I can't judge by what we can see. Seeing her walking or in another position would help greatly.
DeleteYou'd think Victoria would've tried these pants on before venturing out in them to a public engagement. If so, she would've reeled in horror at how they looked & returned them for a refund & an apology. ~~Ruthie
