On October 9, 2025, the Princess of Wales visited the charity Home-Start Oxford to learn how the local family support organization helps parents and young children build strong relationships and overcome the challenges of early childhood. During her visit, she met families as well as the volunteers who support them.

Home-Start is a national network of 175 local charities providing free, trusted, and relationship-based support for families in homes and communities across the UK. The visit also coincided with Home-Start UK’s rollout of new volunteer training, based on the animated films released by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Kate looks very good in this VB rewear. The cut and the fit of it on her is excellent.

    3. Too much fairytale too little princess. I mean it is dated for a modern princess. Because the hair overwhelms her frail frame.
In 18th century it is ok because you have huge dresses with hoops and more in balance.

I am trying to find out who could wear this colour well. Maybe Máxima, popping it up with whatever, a lobster around her neck or huge earrings? Anyway, sure not with a top of this same sad colour (the associations of which I'll keep for myself). I think the Princess overachieves in bringing home the point that she does not want to be known for what she wears. Generally, I don't like VB designs and this trouser does everything to not change my mind.

    2. Wow! When you hate something, you really hate it. I thought the exact opposite of you and was sure the comments would be very positive. I absolutely love the color and think it would look good on most women. The cut of the jacket and trousers are very flattering. I find Victoria Beckham’s designs much nicer than some of the other brands we see featured here. I would love to own this suit.

    3. 19:32 fair enough. It is a very military khaki type colour. 00:21 it’s not hate to dislike a colour!!! It’s completely fine for you to like the colour and design too! - but you can (and preferably will) do that without saying another’s opinion is hate.

    4. if she does want people focusing on her style then trimming the hair would be a start.

    5. dear @Anon 00:21, I try not to overvalue my personal feelings ("hate") and taste, I mean : not to dislike only because I would never wear something like that. I try really hard to see how the outfit works on the specific person who wears it. And this is why I thought of Máxima: She probably could wear it, as a blonde + as somebody with bright lipstick + with accessoires. I don't hate it ... I think Catherine does not look really good in this colour and the same-coloured top does not help.

    6. O8.10 I agree!

    7. Anon 9:01 Your comments said far more than a dislike for the color on Catherine. Suggesting Maxima would wear it with a lobster around her neck is being kind? The person that is made fun of the most for her sartorial choices? I don't know your personal life experiences, but having such a strong reaction to this "sad" green that you can not share it on a public forum must certainly be troublesome for you. I understand you may have personal associations to this color but it has been in style (and is considered a neutral now) for many years. I'm sorry it taints your opinion of anything created in this color. As for no one being able to wear this color, particularly Catherine, may I suggest doing a Google search for who can successfully wear this color. You will see numerous articles that specifically mention that it flatters almost everyone. It is a color that works well with all hair colors (blonde, brunette and redhead.) You are also entitled to not like Victoria Beckham for yourself, but knowing that her styles are more modern than a lot of the styles that the royals wear, that tells me you do not have a very modern aesthetic. That's all. I still find the trousers to be extremely flattering on Catherine. I agree with you that I don't love the tonal top but I don't hate it either.

Great looking suit, fits so well. I like the colour and the tone on tone shirt. I am a stickler for a belt, even a thin skirt one when there are belt loops. It would finish the look, since she is not wearing a lot of jewelry.

Wow - I like everything: from the color and the shape of the pantsuit to the shoes, which are exactly the same shade as her hair. Love it.

Her forehead looks a bit botoxed, and her left eyebrow is slightly raised. If that's the case, it's absolutely legitimate and well done.

A beautiful and strong woman who looks very happy. The PoW is especially radiant with children, so incredibly personable.

She looks beautiful. It’s a lovely suit on her but I think it would have looked even better with a white top, or perhaps black, as the long slender suit with such high heels and her being very slender throws the proportion out. The white would help break up the single line.

    1. I totally agree, the suit would be enhanced with a white or cream colored tee shirt. Love the simplicity of this outfit.

  8. The top is too matchy, matchy with the suit. The style and construction of the suit is splendid but I don't know what colour it is. It's like mustard combined with some ground olives. Very unusual colour that I think suits Kate. It's not bad actually but not everyone can wear it.

Paloma.

It’s not my favourite look from Catherine. I think she looks better in the slim legged trouser. Not a fan of the color. I feel her hair needs some serious styling. It’s completely lost its lustre because of its length. If she had worn it up in a ponytail it might have helped. But sadly with Catherine I find she lacks an eye for the finesse of a look.
That all said,it’s a joy to see her out and about, and hopefully getting stronger by the day.

    1. Lowri I wonder if these trousers would look better simply be being shortened a little? The upper part as she walks looks tight to her quadriceps so I’m not sure they can go much more slender. Regarding her hair, I re looked at the photos after your comment, and don’t see the same problem. Her hair looks natural and well brushed and naturally lustrous, and is curled = natural and styled. I don’t think we can ask more of an individual’s hair! She may not use extra chemicals such as hairspray on it which to me is a great thing.

You don't need to repeat yourself.
So many people - including paper headlines- have praised the Princess of Wales's work , both in terms of her modern approach to charities and for her latest essay.
Thankfully, there are still people capable of prioritizing a woman's inner values and achievements over her hair.
This happens only when/ if there is a brain under her hair, of course.

  13. I like the design of the suit and appreciate the great fit on her form. I just can’t like the color—and I tried. The necklace is well chosen to stand out in an elegant way—not overdone.

  14. Princess of Wales looks elegant as usual. Perfectly fitting suit with fab shoes. A contrasting top, as worn by the model would improve it. She looks best in the last pictures when her hair is pushed back off her face.

  15. I don't love the color, but I think it suits her. The fit is perfect and her and make up look very tidy, so a good look for me. Perhaps Maxima with maroon nails and some accessories could bring the suit to a wow level.

  18. I like her in that suit and the monochromatic look. It is perfect on her. I noticed that 90% of the commenters here do not like every shade from army green, olive green to sage green, but also more artificial green like neon green, grass green, etc... This autumn and winter the natural olive greens and khaki are very fashionable. The color suits the color of Princess Catherine's hair. The cut of this suit is perfect. It looks much better on her than on the model. She is wearing the right amount of jewelry. Très chique.

  19. The pantsuit fits beautifully, the jacket is a good fit, nice design. Love the pants, great length, not baggy. The color suits her well, but it doesn't appeal to me. I love the necklace she is wearing. From what can be seen, I think her shoes are dark beige?

  20. I am mostly not a fan of Victoria Beckhams designs, but this one suits perfectly. Alas the colour is not great.
Nevertheless Catherine wears it perfectly: simpel and ton-sur-ton.

  24. That photo with the fence and the kids behind it didn’t land well. It always gives off that “Royals here / public behind the barrier” sort of vibe. Just wanted to mention that briefly.

PoW looks absolutely brilliant though—I’m genuinely glad she’s doing well. She’s someone people really warm to.

The suit… well, if anyone can wear it, it’s her. But I do prefer her in McQueen—either that bold red one or the white suit. These clean, fresh colours really suit her.
Muted or darker colours just feel a bit too melancholic on her—and in general, to be honest. And don`t get me started on this season’s trend colour: BROWN..... Frieda

  25. This colour drains her out. Not helping given she has such a frail looking face/body anyway. A brighter colour would have made all the difference

What is the point of stressing again that she looks frail?
It has nothing to do with fashion or the colour of the suit in the strict sense.
It is just another excuse for indulging in malicious judgements.
Do you expect a cancer surviror to look fresh and incredibily fit?
You should be glad to see her out and about, still there, still smiling, no?
Enough with this body- related remarks disguised as "opinions".
