On October 3, the accession of Prince Guillaume as Grand Duke of Luxembourg was celebrated with various events. Following the official ceremonies, celebrations were held on Saturday, October 4, in several cities and key locations across the country. The new Grand Ducal Couple attended three major celebrations held in Wiltz, Dudelange, and Luxembourg City to mark the beginning of their reign.
Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, accompanied by Prince Charles and Prince François, visited the town of Wiltz as part of a tour across Luxembourg to highlight the diversity of the nation. The Grand Ducal Couple attended three musical performances at the amphitheatre of Wiltz Castle.
The Grand Ducal Couple then attended a dance performance in Dudelange, highlighting social change and cultural creativity rooted in the country’s industrial past. The production, which combined dance, acrobatics, parkour, percussion, circus arts, various musical genres, and spoken word, featured numerous artists from Luxembourg and abroad.
Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie later walked across the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge accompanied by a vibrant and inclusive walking performance, arriving at Glacis Square, where they attended a concert celebrating Luxembourg’s diverse musical talents following a drone show.
GD Stephanie is such a beautiful woman, she looks so refined and natural.
ردحذفSeems like a really huge weekend for them! The green pantsuit/jumpsuit(?) is very flattering for Stephanie who looks to be in great shape. While the cape sleeves are controversial here in comments, picture 1 finally reveals their real purpose and it couldn’t be cuter ( or probably more necessary for the kids)!! They are such a smiley couple and seem genuinely warm. It’s interesting to watch as Stephanie shows her style preferences (and let no one say “she needs a new stylist”, as she clearly has one and is making a huge effort, clearly seen).

ردحذفI agree. The blue dress looks like something Camilla would wear, which is not a compliment. I think she could choose more attractive shoes and it would help some of her outfits look more pulled together.

حذفI prefer the green and blue/ white outfits! I really think she’s starting to find her own style and that’s great. Not one’s preferred fashion doesn’t mean she’s “not a great dresser” but someone dressing according to her own preferences, right?!

حذفCertain shoes she is wearing are comfort shoes. If she feels the need to wear such shoes she must do it. Better where a wider shoe and little or flat heels than high stiletto's in which she cannot walk and/or hurt her feet. With the fuchsia dress she is wearing lovely shoes and also with the white cape dress. The top of the shoes are pointy and the heels are a bit higher. The only thing she should try is to wear a dark pair of loafers with the new jump suit. In general loafers are comfortable and are excellent to wear with trousers and jump suits.
حذفThe colours of the flag of Luxemburg are red, white and a soft blue, which is reflected in the gowns of the new grand duchess. The grand duke and the two boys have also picked up the colour theme. Perhaps we will see more red today.

ردحذفI absolutely adore longer skirt lengths when they match with the design of a dress or skirt, but in the case of the Grand Duchess’ blue and white dress, I’m 100% with you. Significantly shorter would have looked great!

ردحذفStéphanie looks good, especially in her white and yellow combination but the blue dress for the evening concert is a bit too long and heavy, a bit old-fashioned for her. The boys are lovely. Guillaume starts his new job well, very natural and outgoing.

ردحذفThe blue dress suits Stephanie very well, as do the white pants and yellow blouse. I love her white coat and ivory poncho. But the green jumpsuit is NOT! It emphasizes all the imperfections of the figure and it is a very wrinkled material. I also don't like the earrings.

Too me the green jumpsuit shows her beautiful curvy figure. She’s a natural and elegant beauty and seems a very warm person as well.
حذفShe has no imperfections of her figure, she is not thin but she is not the only royal lady who is is not thin. The green jumpsuit is also a design of Elie Saab. It is made according Stéphanie's measurements.
حذفI like the green jumpsuit, although I would had made different sleeves. Her hair is pretty. The white suit is perfect for her. The short coat has a good length. The trousers have a good length and fit. Her hair is till pretty. The blue dress with the white details is a no for me. The coulours are good but the shape of the dress makes the Grand Duchess looking much heavier than she is. Her hair doesn't look good anymore.
ردحذفGrand Duke Guillaume should ask his father how to dress. The summer blazer and light colored pants are not a good combination for this time of the year. He is looking better in a plain dark suit.

ردحذفEnsemble 1: Very attractive green nuance, almost a dark sage. And I actually also like the pantsuit on her. She has a nice figure, no need to cover it up. Her hairstyle sits her sweet face. Check!
Ensemble 2: My favourite. It's the most casual, but creates the most pleasing silhouette. Well done! Check!
Ensemble 3: Not enamoured of this colour-block dress. The colour-combo is nice, but the style is to reminiscent of Queen Camilla's 'uniform' dresses. Size and shape and length are all wrong for GDS. A fail.

The green jump suit is a great colour and I like the unusual sleeves but agree with Stephanie that it’s not flattering for the GD figure. The blue dress is a definite no from me. It’s too long, shapeless and matronly. I think it’s less flattering than the similar styles favoured by Queen Camilla
