On October 23, 2025, Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, and their daughter, Princess Aiko, visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Memorial Hall (Ireido) in Yokoamicho Park, Sumida. The Imperial Family laid flowers in remembrance of the victims of the Pacific War, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the war. The Tokyo Ireido serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 as well as in the Great Tokyo Air Raid.

I'm sorry but, all this matchy- matchy, bowler hats, bland jewels looks stupid! Let the individual decide and dress themselves.
ReplyDeletePrincess Aiko suits this hat. I like the added detail at the back of her jacket and the cut. I would like to see a different style shoe, these make their feet look big, although they are most likely very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteSuch an ill fitting suit on Princess Aiko.
ReplyDeleteI do wish there was some slightly younger edge to Aiko's clothes. Her clothes are interchangeable with all the other royal women. I still imagine a communal closet with these suits in varying sizes and colors that they choose from.
ReplyDeleteBelle couleur bleu pastel ; j’aime bien la patte/martingale de la veste structurée de Aiko !
