On October 18, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament at the Los Angeles Tennis Club. The annual event raises essential funds to support the Alliance for Children’s Rights and its mission to secure safe homes, quality education, and holistic support for children and families in need. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Foundation has sponsored the tournament for the second consecutive year.
CAROLINA HERRERA halterneck midi shirt dress
Kein Blickfang in Sicht.
ReplyDeleteDa bin ich zu 100% Ihrer Meinung.
DeleteThis is a lovely CH dress and Meghan is the perfect person to wear it. She has the figure and the style to present this lovely halter shirt dress. (I was just thinking to myself that the bow would also look lovely tied off slightly to one side when I noticed that it is on the model.)
ReplyDelete- Anon 9:13
The bow tied in the front works better for Meghan’s short torso. She looks lovely here.

ReplyDeleteI agree a beautiful simple dress perfect for a tennis event. And a great charity to support. LRB
DeleteIt is a cute dress, though I am not a fan of halter dresses. The fit is good, seems to be her signature look to wear a light colour and exposing her shoulders.
ReplyDeleteAgree Rossella!
DeleteDid she ever got the chance to do the same in the UK ? From the beginning they said what she should do. They never asked her about her interests. The only thing she could do is say yes to everything what they said she should do. What they are doing now, they do it together she and Harry. Everything what has been arranged to separate this beautiful couple didn't had much succes. I love these beautiful people who must not be afraid anymore to show their feelings and emotions.

Oh 6:58 you cannot know. “From the beginning they said what she should do. They never asked her about her interests. The only thing she could do is say yes ...” is demonstrably incorrect.
Delete@anonymous 06:58, what are you on about?
DeleteRosella, Meghan is not the only woman to marry into a royal family that found out she did not fully understand what she was getting into. Instead of singling out Meghan, look at it from a wider perspective. Monarchies all over the world have had the same thing happen over the generations. The BRF is arguably the most famous, photographed, and gossiped about of all the royal families. At least with past generations, the internet and AI did not exist to spread and create gossip at breakneck speed. Until you are actually living in that world, you can't possibly understand what it is like. It really is time for the bickering about them to stop. Choices were made and lives have gone on. I personally think there is blame on both sides, but it is none of our business. Strangers rehashing the past, trying to read the meaning of every little thing in the present and predict the future is pointless. Maybe Harry and Meghan were luckier than others. His position in the family made it possible for him to start a new life, where King Charles, Prince Albert, and Emperor Naruhito are but three examples of men that were not in a position to change their lives for their wives/children. Men by nature protect their families, but the level of protection a royal can provide is very different than what a regular man can provide. The job comes before everything else, and the struggles their wives were having played out in the press. It is actually cruel to think about. Daily reports in the press only make it more difficult to adjust and heal. Try to imagine if you were in the place of any of these women before criticizing.
Delete@Anon 18:18 Well said! You make very valid and 100% true points and you said it all very well.
Delete- Anon 9:13
Her feet are not her best feature, so I think closed shoes would have been a better choice. All these PDAs with prince Harry and the woman in blue are irksome and exaggerated and meaningless.
ReplyDelete🌞 Virginia
You are right. It is one big show……
DeleteYou decided to body shame...her feet? If you feel self conscious about your feet, feel free to wear closed toe shoes. On a warm day, at a tennis tournament, these are appropriate shoes that work well with the dress. I cannot agree with you that "[h]er feet are not her best feature." It looks like you had to look pretty hard at these pictures to see something to criticize here about her outfit (and feet.)
DeleteSince this couple bothers you so much, I wonder why you decided to read this post and then take more time out of your day to comment. The woman in blue is Kelly McKee Zajfen. Meghan and Kelly have been friends for 20 years. The George Zajfen Tennis Tournament is named after Kelly's nine-year-old son who died in 2022. The gentleman in the picture is her husband Julian, and the young lady is their daughter Lily. Again, you read too much into some pictures without knowing or caring about the facts. If it is wrong to show some affection to a long time friend, then I am just as guilty. I would have hugged this family as well if they were friends of mine. This was probably a bittersweet day for this family and a hug can go a long way in easing some of those sad feelings that one feels when remembering the loss of a loved one.
Absolutely. So rehearsed
DeleteAffectionate people exist. I personally find it lovely, but I'm know for my big hugs.

@ Anonimo 20:27
@ Anon 20:27
DeleteThank you for your beautiful explanation. This is what happens often on this blog. Commenters think they know everything about anyone. This is a beautiful story of people who are still capable to show their affection to others.
Thank you anon 20:27 for your words. I know this story too, but you explained it much better than my language skills could ever do.
DeleteAnd fortunately there are always people who don't need to hide affections, hugs and emphaty and then there are unfortunately the cynics...
In that situation the fashion is a side issue, but I like very much Meghan's sandals.
Because I'm not British I'm neither for nor against Meghan. But I almost always like her clothes and imo she is a sympathetic person. I don't know about the rest (the most of us do not know) and it doesn't concern me.
@ Rosella
DeleteWhat do you know about her family ? Everything we know is published in the gutter press. If your own father is selling a personal letter by his daughter to the press because he smells money ? Besides before she got married to Prince Harry her half sister spread constantly lies about her and sold stories to the press. You say she was an actress who was not known for most people, but she had saved money, money she earned by being an actress in a T.V. series, money her half sister wished to have for herself. So she started to spread lies about Meghan being a bad sister who did nothing for her father. If this happened to me, I think I would not wish to see my family ever again.
And what about the group belonging to the British establishment who told the press the marriage would not stay long and that they would be divorced quickly. Well they still are together that is something nobody could take away from them. I wish them the best of luck.
Beautiful CH dress on beautiful Meghan. A pity there are so many dark buttons on the dress. This is something I've never liked on any shirt dress these buttons from the neck until the hemline.
ReplyDeleteMeghan est ravissante comme toujours
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
Classy and elegant as always - the Duke & the Duchess of Sussex are a beautiful couple.
ReplyDeleteMESH
Et cela me réjouit.
-Astrid.
I don't like halter neck dresses so this dress is a miss for me. Regardless she looks quite okay in this CH dress.
ReplyDeleteDuchess Meghan has chosen the appropriate white colour for a tennis event and confirmed by the Duke with his white tee shirt.
ReplyDeleteI remember the days when tennis attire had to be white and skirts to the knees.
Found this in an article on the net …..
“ Tennis whites came into action around the late 1800s when the game was an elite sport among the English upper class. At that time, athletes opted for wearing whites as they offer a clean look and spotlight Victorian concepts of class and dignity."
Meghan knows her body well and almost always picks clothes that suit her perfectly. I think that's a key part of good style.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is another great example of that. It would look even better if her hair were tied back.
Even on here, you often see comments slating a certain style or piece of clothing on one user but not on another, which some commenters think is unfair. But that's beside the point. The thing is, one style might suit one person, but it does not suit someone else. -Siri
Siri you’re so right; different clothes suit different people differently. It is very strange for me when people here accuse others of liking a garment on one lady and not another, as if it’s vindictive, and accuse them of hate. It’s simply preferences and hate should be nowhere near a blog about fashion.
DeleteNot a fan of open shoes with bare toes, more for beach wear than representation/business.
ReplyDeleteWhat about evening sandals? Are all the royal ladies wrong for wearing them?
DeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteFull of hatred you can not recognize kindness.
