The 2025 Princess of Asturias Awards Ceremony will take place in the afternoon at the Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo. On the morning of October 24, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia received the recipients of the “2024 End-of-Degree Awards” from the University of Oviedo in audience at the Hotel de la Reconquista in Oviedo.
The Spanish Royal Family also held an audience with the recipients of the “2025 Medals of Asturias,” the holders of the title “Favourite Son of Asturias 2025,” and the “Adopted Sons and Daughters of Asturias 2025,” as well as with the laureates of the “2025 Princess of Asturias Awards,” who were accompanied by the chairs of the juries and members of the Boards of Trustees of the Princess of Asturias Foundation.

These double brass suits make the young ladies look larger than they are
ReplyDeleteFor me, they don't look larger than they simply are. They are considerably taller, and of course, correspondingly "larger" in the horizontal dimension than their very thin mother. Very normal. I hope so much that nobody wishes for them to look for clothing that "makes them look less large".
DeleteDo most women not look for clothing that ‘makes them look less large’? I certainly do!
DeleteAgree 18:13.
DeleteA truly remarkable family — so graceful. Their natural elegance shines through. The young daughters, in particular, are exceptionally beautiful, with a classic and refined sense of style. They radiate kindness and charm without a trace of arrogance.
ReplyDeleteMary
Why would there be a trace of arrogance ? I don't know what you are trying to say and of whom you wish to say something, but doesn't dare ?
DeleteBeautifully said Mary. @16:34, nothing to be passive aggressive about. Mary is simply saying that she doesn’t see any arrogance which is a lovely compliment. People in high positions may sometimes and she’s saying that this family doesn’t.
Delete母と娘のファッションを比べると、母には洗練を感じ、娘たちには勢いを感じます。
ReplyDeleteInteresting that they all have double breasted suits, even dad. Not a fan of double breasted jackets, though they add interest, perhaps it is because the hem is cut straight across. Other than the king the proportions look off.
- Dorothe -
ReplyDeleteMore office attire. But at least they wore different colours this time and some bright red. The whole family seems to be in uniform.
ReplyDeleteAnother day at the Office, indeed. At least Infanta Sofia went for a lovely colour which went some way to enlivening the look
DeleteEveryone is in suits. I don’t understand your criticism of that. The whole crowd is in business dress, which was probably stipulated on the inviration.
DeleteWhat?
Delete@ Sandra
DeleteDo you understand what this award is about and what is the function of the Royal Family there?
Fashion might not be a commenter's best suit (the pun!) but contexts are not that hard to get.
Nice suits. I like Leonore's very much.

Princess Sofia looks lovely and elegant in her red pant suit. The only thing that is imv less noce is the way she arranges her beautiful hair. Should be really more out of her face
