On October 7, 2025, Queen Máxima officially opened the 20th edition of Beursvloer Tilburg at the Koning Willem II Stadium in Tilburg. Each year, around 200 companies and social organizations from the Midden-Brabant region come together at Beursvloer Tilburg to exchange products and services without the use of money. The initiative is organized by ContourdeTwern, an organization for social and youth work in Tilburg and its surroundings.
Before the opening, Queen Máxima spoke with representatives of participating companies and social organizations, as well as with staff and volunteers who contribute to organizing Beursvloer each year. After the opening ceremony, the Queen toured the Beursvloer floor. For the occasion, Queen Máxima wore a fuchsia leaf-patterned dress by Oscar de la Renta.

Stunning dress teamed with perfect hat. Although this bright shade of pink is not my favourite, it certainly suits Queen Maxima. Superb
ReplyDeleteVery nice, colour and fit
ReplyDeleteNice length, unusual decoration on dress. I think it works well.
ReplyDeleteBelle silhouette dans cette robe fuchsia dont les motifs feuilles sont disposés judicieusement ; j’aime moins son genre de coiffe/turban !
ReplyDeleteVery chic.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is great but it looks more "cocktail party" to me due to the sequins.

i agree but this is Maxima, she has her style diverts from the norm
Deleteagree!
DeleteThis pink dress looks beautiful, fits well and nice design. The black embellishments are effective. Love the hat, and accessory color.
ReplyDeleteWe know the dress : it is quite good, maybe better without the hat, but I think think the heels should have been a bit lower in balance with the length of the skirt.
ReplyDeleteShe always wears hats for opening ceremonies. An excellent tradition! I agree that in general the 10+ cm heels don’t look as good as lower heels.
DeleteThis outfit is old-fashioned and not fit for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteQueen Elizabeth 2 would be proud of her
Delete???? Ridiculous critical comment !!
DeletePlease detail your expertise about 1. what is old-fashioned on this dress and also 2. what is unfit for a ceremonial opening. Without such details, your comment is not really fit (and worth) for the occasion of being published on a fashion blog.
DeleteThe dress is quite old. She wore it when on state visit to the U.K. and later on she wore the dress regularly. In those days I liked the dress very much, today I do not like this neon pink with the black leaves any more.
Delete@Anon 12:06: Now we know you liked it earlier and now you don't like it any more. But the problem is, we are interested in what people can tell about the outfits, not what they can tell about themselves.
DeleteSorry, don’t like the dress and hat? Not at all!
ReplyDeleteVery striking but well put together outfit. I think it would look even more beautiful if upper black decoration was connected with the lower part. As it is, QM looks great.
ReplyDeleteThe best dress and a hat i’ve seen her wearing for a long time❤️
DeleteWell she is the queen so she should stand out to be seen
DeleteLurid color for the dress, with tacky embroidery.
ReplyDeleteYes it’s hot pink but only lurid in these hyper coloured photos. I watched a video of her at the event and the pink is not lurid. As for the embroidery, Oscar de La Renta I think has done an elegant appliqué on this dress.
DeleteI'd say: this all too evident trolling is tacky.
DeleteI recall this dress from before, but like one or two others, I fear that I might have liked it more back then than I do now. Now I find the embroidery to be too much, particularly the part on the hips. There's too much of it there. Or...keep what's on the hips and remove the bit on the shoulder.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, I credit Maxima with re-wearing a dress that she has had for a long time. Old clothes are new again.

J aime cette robe, cela donne du peps
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
I like the bright pink color of this dress on Maxima; however, I do not care for the hat, which reminds me of the type of hat I wear outside in the snow.

Terrific silhouette for Máxima, ideal lentgh, a festive dress for an opening ceremony with excellent visibility, so to speak. Hair put away into a nice fitting hat, nothing too much, all accessoires in harmony - for me, there is nothing here that I don't like on her on this occasion. - It is, evidently, a completely different question, if one wants to wear or have this dress. But we are not Máximas :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove the clever use of applique to break up the intense color. Scrolled to the designer. Of course, a top designer! Christine
ReplyDeleteShe looks fantastic, also great fit.
