On Wednesday evening, October 8, 2025, Queen Máxima attended the winners’ dinner of the King Willem I Award, held at Breda University of Applied Sciences. The evening, traditionally organized by the King Willem I Foundation together with the winners of the most recent edition, marked the official opening of the application period for the biennial business awards.
The networking event focused on entrepreneurship and young talent. The winners of the 2024 King Willem I Awards — Royal Cosun, Lagemaat Sloopwerken, and Fairphone — shared their visions for innovation and the future of Dutch entrepreneurship, together with young talents from their respective companies. During the evening, the new chairman of the King Willem I Foundation, Olaf Sleijpen, officially assumed the position from his predecessor, Klaas Knot.
Founded in 1958, the King Willem I Foundation aims to highlight positive developments in the Dutch economy through its business awards. The King Willem I Award is presented every two years in the categories of Large Business and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME), along with the King Willem I Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

ردحذفI agree on the good look ; it is quite original and the color is wonderful. The feathers at the bottom of the sleeves could be quite unpractical, but she is not a manual worker. She can be more interested in the original design rather than in the practicality.

ردحذفThe outfit is rather unfortunate. The fluff around the cuffs is silly and impractical, the material is rather thin and not suited for evening wear, I think, and the ribbon belt takes it down to morning robe level, with hair to match. The colour is nice, but that´s not enough.

حذفWhat a great colour for her, the trim on the sleeve is not to my taste, it would annoy me. However she is able to pull it off nicely.
ردحذفLovely dress, lovely colour. Must have been hard to eat dinner with all those sleeve feathers getting in the way, but since the dress has no other visible embellishments, and dinner was only for a short period, I'm pleased to give them an OK. Very nice.

I love the color of this dress, its a beautiful shade. Her shoe and clutch color is perfect. The actual dress fits well, like the design, the fluffy cuffs are certainly interesting and add a different overall to the dress.
ردحذفThat’s a very beautiful colour for her but unusual for Natan. Could it be silk? Why have they used a drawstring waist for an elegant dress? A strange design from Natan in my view (elegant dress up cuffs, overly casual waist), but she exudes joy and life wearing anything at all.
ردحذفLove the colour in the first few photos, although it appears slightly duller in the last two. I am not a fan of attaching the muppets Elmo to the sleeve cuffs, and the dress seems a little like a dressing gown in some photos. However Maxima manages to suit it and look good!

حذفLe tissu fluide est très joli. La couleur est difficile à définir, en rose framboise c'est ravissant (photos à l'extérieur) mais si elle est bordeaux j'aime moins (photos à l'intérieur).

She makes even this self-belted shirtwaist-like dress (I hate them all :-) - work somehow, I think because it is flowing so beautifully and it is flowing around very pretty and feminine contours. In other words, she has an excellent figure, everything where it should be and in good proportions, she can even wear a shirtwaist ... The fluff: the dress does not need it, but it does not ruin the dress. We could see photos without her head and we would know: fluff? oh, then it must be Máxima. - Good makeup, fitting lipstick colour, extravagant earrings go well with simple (minus fluff!) dress.

Wow she looks so fabulous in this colour and style. Her hairstyle could have looked better with a fuller style like in the photos of the awards night and pale pink pant suit. This lipstick looks great on her.
