    -Astrid.

  2. Red always works on the Queen and this dress is so lovely on her. Also want to say that this is how you wear flats with a dress. The slingbacks are modern and interesting but still accommodate the need for a lower heel.

  3. Letizia always looks good - she is a beauty - but this is outstanding!

  5. I cannot love this dress, first and foremost complaint: the sleeves. The dress is perfectly fitted, but the sleeves evoke the impression unreadiness ("they forgot to finish the sleeves" :-). Second quibble: Too closed high neckline, with this skirt length a long "desert of red" is presented.

  6. I like the dress. The colour is bright and vibrant. I really like the unusual bell sleeves. However the front opening is a bit awkward especially in the 5th photo. I think it's because the dress is flared and you don't usually see slit openings in long voluminous skirts or dresses. They are not required. They are usually used in tight or straight skirts to facilitate movement. And because it's in the front of the dress there is a lot of fabric involved while walking.

  7. She is so petite that I am not sure that the cut of the dress is very flattering (in the fullness of the skirt), but red is her color, she still looks lovely.

    3. 19:34 why the aggression? Why? It makes me feel sad for 17:57 who has just stated her thoughts on a dress and received your hard response! You don’t know if this is the first time she’s been here on this site, or the second, so the “again?” … lets be gentle with each other. It’s not a surprise when people think Letizia is petite as she’s frequently photographed next to her very tall husband, so it’s a natural assumption to make - and a harmless one. I agree that Letizia is petite which means small, whether in stature or body size, and that therefore this style of dress does look big on her. She nevertheless looks wonderful.

    4. To be fair, petite in clothes means 5' 4" or shorter (approximately 1.63 meters) but petite can also describe a person with a smaller frame. Letizia does look shorter than she is when standing next to Felipe, who is 6' 6" (1.97 meters). Letizia is absolutely a petite woman in frame, not height.

    5. Anon 19:48...aggression? Do you live in Disneyland? I have no time for nonsense, I have a life.

    6. I was afraid that the discussion about her height would have taken place when she and King Felipe were in Brussels for the opening ceremony of "Europalia Espana 2025". She was the shortest of the 4 royals.

Queen Letizia looks quite stylish in this red. I like the fit for her, better than shown on the model. And I love the shoes - cute , so much better than all the strappy ones that appear to cut her foot off. Good choice.

    1. I agree. I like the dress and think the unusual sleeves elevate it from ordinary. Queen Letizia always looks lovely in red. The shoes are as good as it gets for her now.
