Princess Kako is on a two-day visit to Shiga Prefecture, where she will attend the closing ceremony of the 79th National Sports Festival in Ōtsu City on October 8. On October 7, she watched the final match of the boys’ basketball tournament. The Princess also visited Kohoku Mimi no Sato, a work support facility in Maibara City for people with hearing impairments.

This dress is very pretty and feminine. The floral print is beautiful and the black tie, belt and trim on the hem and edge of the sleeves give it a more dramatic flair.

Such a delight to see Kako as always! She exudes such joy and warmth, such engagement with whatever she is doing. In terms of fashion--a very pretty floral dress for a very pretty princess! The photo of her wearing heels with the dress shoes how beautifully she has styled the dress (I know she needed to wear the flats for the event).
