On October 26, 2025, Princess Kako of Japan visited the Ceramic Cultural Park in Kōka City, a region renowned for its Shigaraki ware pottery. Together with local elementary school students, the Princess painted Shigaraki ware tanuki (raccoon dog) figurines. For the occasion, the Princess wore an Art Deco print long-sleeve maxi dress by Grace Continental.

Earlier in the day, Princess Kako visited a competition venue of the National Sports Games for Persons with Disabilities, where she watched the “flying disc” event, in which athletes compete in both distance and accuracy.

  4. Great colours in the dress, I think I would have like to see the bow at the waist like the model. It’s the shoes that make it look matronly. Hair always looks tidy.
