On October 15, the Prince and Princess of Wales hosted Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa at Windsor Castle. The meeting, held as part of Crown Prince Hussein’s working visit to the United Kingdom, highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and the UK, and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across various fields.
Additionally, Crown Prince Hussein and Prince William visited Royal Air Force (RAF) Benson, a support helicopter operating base located in Oxfordshire.

Both girls look stunning. Mary
ReplyDeleteI used to dislike seeing Catherine wear a lot of blusher, (as she used to do in earlier days - I have seen it IRL, it was very noticeable) but for once I am very glad to see it, as it adds brightness to her face. Since the death of the Duchess of Kent, Catherine has been wearing very sombre colours -- black, grey, brown, dark khaki , dark green -- and in monochrome, without a contrasting coloured top to add vividness. I feel these colours make her look tired. Perhaps this palette is a half-mourning decision?...whatever the reason, I will be happy when I see her in brighter colours. The camel of this outfit is not ideal for her complexion in my view, though the blusher helps -- but I'm glad this outfit isn't dark.
ReplyDeleteRajwa's fashion choices are interesting. It seems she is willing to experiment. I look forward to seeing more of her style. Lyra
I think her new hair colour washes out her delicate complexion.
DeleteI understand that princess Catherine no longer wants to be overly identified with her clothes, instead with her actions. One must bear in mind that cancer at a relatively young age changes people, which to me makes her new approach very plausible and endearing. However, I do not find her changed hairdo, this Alice in Wonderland look, very becoming, to be polite.

I do agree. Have the feeling that Kate wants to tell us more about the content of her work than being very intetested in fashion which I think is really important
DeleteHi Anons 8:54 and 17:26. I very much applaud Catherine's decision to not have her clothes be the focus of attention; yet her newly sombre colour palette saddens my heart. Charlene is one who is known for her sombre neutrals, and she uses them to create signature looks which suit her light colouring very well. I feel that Catherine's darker colouring (which is more like Victoria's, but with lighter eyes) requires a different vision of neutrals, one with a dance of light and shade, so that the reserve and quietness of neutrals does not drain her energy. Lyra
DeleteWow! Rajwa looks fantastic! I absolutely love this jumpsuit on her. I wouldn’t have been mad if she wore the tie as shown on the model. The red shoes work so well here. They peek out just enough from the legs of the jumpsuit to give us a little surprise interest to this black and white outfit. I think Catherine’s suit fits beautifully. I don’t love it the blouse. With such a neutral color, I wouldn’t have been have liked seeing a different color blouse in a more youthful style. I think the bow gives the outfit a very conservative feel.
ReplyDeleteNice to see both CPss together for an event. I like Cathrines suit but cannot warm up to Rajwa's two piece. It looks nice, but not my style.

Horrible McQueen design
ReplyDeleteThat´s my reaction too. I like the straight cut of the trouser part but everything further up is iffy. I think the main problem is the shirt because it has the buttons and collar of a normal shirt and looks just tucked in. This design needed a complete different white part, something tighter and stretchy to make a more coherent look. At least Rajwa skipped the tie which has no place (and literally no room) in this design.
Deletesi, sono d'accordo con te. Ovviamente lei è bellissima.
DeleteThree suits and a major fashion statement! The men look great and Catherine is per usual, but all my attention is on Rajwa. Absolutely loving the McQueen ensemble, even wish she had worn the black tie shown on the model. The styling with red shoes and a ponytail are perfection.
ReplyDeleteCatherine’s suit is well-tailored, but to me her outfit looks like something one would wear to go to work as a bank executive. It seems pretty drab (and borderline frumpy with the bow blouse) for the occasion. I like Rajwa’s red shoes; I do not care for the corset-looking top of her outfit. The men look the best-dressed here to me.
ReplyDelete-Royal Watcher
I agree Royal Watcher. I think the suit colour for Catherine at least in indoor lighting is not the best. If she had a crisp blouse rather than necktie one, or even a black round neck tshirt, it would help the suit. Rajwa’s outfit is for me something that should have remained at the fashion show.
DeleteCatherine’s outfit is smart if on the dull side. Princess Rajwa’s shoes look lovely but her jumpsuit is awful. The top is like a school uniform blouse with slip pullover
ReplyDeleteLooking at Princess Rajwa’s jumpsuit it has me thinking of a similar jumpsuit that Princess Charlene wore for an evening event, but in that instance she choose to for go the white blouce, instead wearing a jacket draped over her shoulders. But I like this version just as much. It’s suits Rajwa, who has the height and the shape to carry it off. I’m not keen on the red shoe,I always think the trouser and the shoe should be the same color,it gives the look a little more finesse. Maybe to break up the black she might have chosen a red clutch instead. Her hair and make up are beautifully done. She’s such a striking good looking young woman.
ReplyDeleteI like Catherine’s RM suit, though a wider leg does nothing for her,she is better suited to a straighter leg. I like the blouce, if only it was tied in the manner a blouce tie collar should be worn. Unlike Princess Rajwa, Catherine has just left her hair down. I would have far preferred her hair up and tidy rather than laying there limp and lifeless. Her choice of earrings seem more in line to wear at an evening event. A pair of diamond and Pearl earrings would have been a far better choice. But sadly with Catherine I don’t believe she’s a great lover of fashion and style,I think she’s far happier in her outdoor clothes and wellies, rather than dressing for business events/neetings. Unfortunately it shows. She lacks the attention to detail vibe. Which is such a shame, because she really could make a look pop and come to life by just tweaking the details.
Lowri.
I did not instantly like the McQueen jumpsuit when I saw it on other social media earlier in the day. I kept seeing it more in various other reports about Rajwa and Hussein during the day, and by the time I see it here, I like it a bit more, because I can see how suitable it is to Rajwa's figure - accenting her lovely long legs, height, and slim waist. I'm still not 100% with it because of the bustier style top part with a shirt underneath, but she looks very good in it. Since she didn't wear the tie - and I agree that was a good idea not to - I wish she'd have unbuttoned the collar (if the collar can be unbuttoned) so it looked more open and less constricting at the neck. I don't like the double row of buttons either - a single row down the middle would be better - but since they can hardly be seen, I'm not fussed about it.
ReplyDeleteNot much to say about Kate. It's another one of her standard looks and that's fine.

This Alexander McQueen suit worn by Rajwa is the sort of strange thing I expect to see on a runway at a fashion show - but never to be actually purchased or worn. It’s somewhat ok on the static model but as soon as she’s a human in movement it’s awkward and untidy. The blouse is anyway a bit strange with the big sleeves, but that material wants to move and is not wanting to be so restrained under the restrictive black bodice. If she’d instead worn the blouse with neat black trousers it would have been perfection.
ReplyDeleteRajwa looks wonderful, she wears the jumpsuit well. She is a beautiful looking lady/Princess. Her hair looks well groomed and styled. Love the red shoes, clever choice and splash of color, her bag looks great. Catherine looks well groomed, the pantsuit fits her beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThe jumpsuit is really fresh and fun.
ReplyDeleteThe beige suit, while nicely fitted is rather dull.
Janet
I think the suit on Rajwa looks great. Young. Just loved it.
ReplyDeleteI mostly love Catherine ‘s simple classic style but withnher far too long hair even for me it becomes a bit boring!
ReplyDeleteThe young princess in A.McQueen: great.
All 4 perfect, the new generation, fresh and modern!

DeleteAgree, a pleasure to see the up and coming young royals.
I, too, think what somebody above wrote: Colour choices of the Princess of Wales a kind of half-mourn, just dampened for a while. So I hope. Lipstick would help. - Rajwa's choice is quite fashion-forward, as almost always, but I cannot detect anything that is personally favourable for her. Or for anyone, for that matter, because this masculine type shirt is somehow looking very hard, the sleeves being blown up (and why). So this is my impression: Fashionable without personal gain from the outfit. Same applied from her artwork dress before. - Small quibble: why place buttons where usually the nipples like to be? I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent summary 8:00: fashionable without personal gain. It really is a case of the King’s New Clothes… where the tailor dressed him stark naked but told him it looked great, then no one else dared to say he was terribly dressed except one honest young child.
DeleteI love what you wrote! “ quite fashion-forward, as almost always, but I cannot detect anything that is personally favourable for her”. Couldn’t agree more. The more I look at these pics, the more I scratch my head.
DeleteBeautiful blouse wichtig the bow. PoW looks geraten.
ReplyDeleteI love Catherines blouse with the bow.
ReplyDelete“Spot-on” for both ladies.
ReplyDeleteI especially like Princess Rajwa’s jumpsuit.
I love her “dare” to explore new designs and creators, for example, her Giada Printed Silk Dress (see Newmyroyals October 15, 2025).
I hope the young Crown Prince Hussein is happy to visit the land of his paternal English grandmother, Toni Avril Gardiner later to be known as Princess Muna Al Hussein after her marriage to King Hussein" of Jordan.
Princess Muna is now 84 years old and I understand still lives in Jordan in the Humar Palace which was gifted to her after her divorce from King Hussein.

Princess Catherine is looking good in that beautiful pantsuit. The color suits her. I don't mind the white blouse. So much better than the dark and sad colors she wore in Northern Island.
ReplyDeleteForgot to write about Princess Rajwa's outfit. Another quite unusual outfit by Alexander McQueen. I prefer a simple pant suit than this strange jumpsuit.
ReplyDeleteRajwa’s bag looks to me like a toolkit. The way it needs to be held is very workman or doctor, and the black leather doesn’t help the image. I’m afraid that someone had told her this outfit works as an ensemble and suits her, but neither are true. Unfortunately her dress and boots of yesterday had the same problems. If she were to dress simply in dresses or suits, or heck even jeans and a tshirt, she’d be fabulous, but the “arty” ensembles are not working.
ReplyDeleteSince it is a working visít Catherine looks elegant and professional. As for Rajwa, I don't like this jumpsuit, not even on the model.
ReplyDeleteCP Catherine is always such a delight! She has lovely hair but I think she could benefit with a shorter cut.
ReplyDelete/AWC
Paloma.
It was always desirable for a wide legged pant to completely cover the shoe. If they didn't, we knew our look was off. I just see this as a throw back style. It was bound to return as most styles do eventually.
DeleteCe style de combinaison est bien porté par Rajwa qui a la taille idéale ; j’aime bien la voir coiffée de cette queue de cheval !
ReplyDeleteCamel is a neutral colour that looks best paired with another more vivid colour such as red, green, blue or burgundy. The monochrome suit is dull and the plain white top inside doesn't add anything. Kate seems to be in a fashion slump lately. Her outfits have been very unimpressive and uninspiring.
ReplyDelete@ Sandra
DeleteThat is your opinion. Camel, beige, light brown is often paired with white according fashion since last summer. When Charlene of Monaco is styling her pant suits which have more or less the same color with a white T-shirt or a white top everybody likes it. Your comments are very negative and you are not aware what is fashion or not.
I think she is trying to develop a signature style, pant suits which are great for business. QE her dress and coat, QC zip dress are what they choose.
DeleteThe tone on tone seems to be the in thing, and Catherine wears all the autumn colours well. She just needs to shorten her hair so it doesn’t drag her face down. The hair is wearing her and it isn’t as becoming as it used to be.
There is a point in your assessment - these moss greens, greys and beige outfits are washing Catherine out.
DeleteThere is a point in your assessment - these moss greens, greys and beige outfits are washing Catherine out.
Delete@13:19 Fashion doesn't seem to be your fortè
DeleteIs she carrying a recorder or is it a set of little screwdrivers? I don’t think the bag “adds” to the awkwardness of the jumpsuit. If the jumpsuit were cut at the waist and the top used for something else, I think the blouse and black trousers would be gorgeous. Her posture is amazing and her hair is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that all her garments cover her from neck to ankle without wearing a burka. Perhaps she felt obligated to wear a British designer garment. It is just not becoming on her, despite it fits well.
DeleteWhen I read all this negative comments on Princess Catherine, I really do not understand where it comes from. It is not so long ago she started to work again. All her fans were kind and one could not say anything negative about the way she was dressed without being told we were not kind and should be more taking into account how fragile she still was, etc...
ReplyDeleteWhere are all her fans now or do we have a new series of commenters on this blog who were not there before ?
I already wrote about her pant suit so I am not going to repeat it.
PoW looks greate ( Blouse with the pussy bow and the colors). Idont like the look of Rajwa. The Blouse is nice, but the rest ?
ReplyDeleteI’d like to like Rajwa’s outfit, but it looks like strapless overalls with a blouse underneath. Love the blouse but can’t love overalls, strapless or otherwise.
ReplyDeletei guess I'm in the minority here, but I do not like that style at all which Rajwa is wearing. I have never liked it as I have seen it before on other women. Catherine looks nice as always, but has she decided not to wear dresses anymore?
ReplyDeletePrincess Rajwa looks great. I like that she is experimenting with fashion. She could be a fashion leader, an icon. While the Princess of Wales looks nice she has always played safe and followed fashion never was a leader. I know that’s not her job at all. Anyways I like P.Rajwa she has so much potential she is a breath of fresh air. Larina
ReplyDeleteSo you know it is not Catherines job to be a fashion leader, but you want Rajwa to be one? I find it interesting how people see the role of royals.
DeletePrincess Rajwa has such a nice regal posture, just like Queen Mary. Her motion is soo regal. That’s something Catherine never had unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am not the biggest fan of Princess Catherine, I would never write such a comment. Queen Mary is not more regal than Princess Catherine. They both had to learn the discipline of being a royal. Before she got married and on her wedding day Princess Catherine was the best that could happen to the BRF. Since she became ill a lot of the British fans seem to have something against her. All of a sudden her hair is too long and her outfits are no longer at your taste, her make-up is too heavy (something I always found since I first saw a picture of her). I loved the outfits of Princess Rajwa before she got married. Since then there is always a black part in her outfits and it is true that her dresses are closed from her neck until her feet and if not she is wearing a pair of boots to cover her legs. I cannot help it but I prefer the style of Princess Catherine which correspond more with the style of the other European Queens and Princesses. Princess Catherine looks as much regal as any other Princess and I hope for her she can stay herself above all. I have seen enough of what happened to Prince Harry and Meghan. They were not allowed to be themselves either. The only solution that was left was to go away .
DeleteIn years to come, in my opinion, Princess Rajwa, will look back and think, why on earth did I wear a lovely blouse shoved into the black overalls.
