On October 26, 2025, King Abdullah II of Jordan opened the second ordinary session of the 20th Parliament with a speech delivered from the Throne. Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Rajwa, Princess Salma, Princess Muna, Princess Ghida, and other members of the royal family attended the opening ceremony held in Amman.
For the occasion, Queen Rania of Jordan wore a Toile Iconographe silk shirt dress by Valentino, Princess Rajwa wore a grey twill midi dress by Self-Portrait, and Princess Salma wore a fluid twill midi dress by ME+EM.

This silk dress looks gorgeous, elegant. She looks smart and stylish, the color is sublime.
ReplyDeleteLovely dresses, however I don’t feel the gray suit is particularly becoming despite fitting well.
ReplyDeleteI agree on the grey Self Portrait suit. I find the colour a dead military grey, which I cannot dissociate from military, and the jacket styling very harsh. It does fit well, but how beautiful it would be in almost any other colour and with some softening to the jacket.
DeleteRajwa does not want to over shadow her mother in law, very respectful. in the meantime its dull colors and blant styles.
ReplyDeleteThe situation in the Middle East is very tense. It is quite conceivable that more muted or pastel colours would be more appropriate, especially in public. Princess Salma, for example, wears black. I think Princess Rajwa's dress is beautifully cut and suits her perfectly. However, I don't think the belt on Queen Rania's dress is quite as suitable in terms of style or colour; I prefer the Valentino design.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your thoughts.
To me it's a very drab outfit for such an attractive young woman.
Cate.
For me, it is not so much the colour of Rajwa's skirt suit, it is the style itself. The jacket borrows too much from hard military style, no softening there, no curves, just hard straight lines plus closed up to her chin. Imagine a rounded collar, just 5-8 centimetres open neckline, showing a necklace, rounded or at least smaller pocket flaps, another colour for that belt - it would be different. I would not like this same style in pink either.
ReplyDeleteIf one must change all that we have to change fashion. Rajwa is young and likes probably what other young women like. Personally I wouldn't wear it either because it would not be beautiful for me. I also hate too dark colors and for the top and for the skirt or pants. A bit of a contrasting color would make this outfit more to what I like, but I am not Rajwa.
DeleteQuel superbe trio mais c'est la couleur bleue de la grande pervenche que je préfère ; d'autre part, j'aime beaucoup voir l'arrière de la coiffure de Rania !
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the Self Portrait dress. Self Portrait have some really nice designs this I’m afraid is not one of them.
ReplyDeleteI do like Salma me+em dress though I would have preferred a brighter color.
I like HM dress and the tan accessories.
Lowri.
The self portrait gray might look nice on a fair haired person. Very harsh looking. Perhaps in person it looks better, however it just looks sad to me.
ReplyDeleteAucune des trois (03) tenues n’est à mon goût.
ReplyDelete-Astrid.
The Queen looks beautiful in this shade of blue and her shoes stunning. Her daughter in law never wears happy colours why? Can anyone tell me, is it because of her father’s passing? She such a attractive young woman.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think all three ladies look lovely, slim and elegant in their outfits.
