Elisabeth looks sensational in a very interesting Natan creation. For once, that design house’s preference for stiff materials makes sense and makes the design work. She’s impeccable, absolutely no criticism whatsoever! But on the other hand, Natan has the strange habit of regularly making tops / the tops of dresses in just two pieces, one front one back, so that if the wearer moves her arms, the top looks ill fitted, pulling in certain areas and sloppy in others. Does anyone know why they have adopted this?

  3. Dès le début, je me suis demandée de qui était la robe de Mathilde ; je viens d'avoir la réponse en voyant Armani ; elle épouse à merveille sa silhouette !

Both ladies, queen and princess, are very elegant and stylish. But I like Amalia's outfit best, especially her evening gown - she looked splendid.

Ohhh. I love that blue dress on Princess Elizabeth. The color looks great on her and she can carry off that shape.

Both Mathilde and CP Elisabeth's evening gowns were splendid. They were probably my favourite looks of the evening. I liked Maxima's and Amalia's gowns too, but I'd have preferred narrower skirts for both of them.
Everyone looked good though, and Stephanie's blue chiffon gown looked somewhat better in the evening than during the day.

I did not like Elizabeth's blue gown *before* I knew that it was from Natan ... am I allowed now to dislike it? It makes her look - sorry - a bit like an alien. Hour-glass, but so extreme that it is not really favourable any more. Her silver dress, on the other hand, is beautiful, as is her mother's evening gown.

  9. Great outfits for both Queen Mathilde and Princess Elisabeth but the Princess's silver evening gown is just gorgeous. As with CP Amalia the updo plus tiara is beautiful
