The Princess of Wales visited textile mills in Suffolk and Kent to celebrate British textile manufacturers. On September 11, 2025, the Princess visited Marina Mill in Cuxton, Kent, a family-run business specialising in hand-designed and screen-printed fabrics. Marina Mill was established in 1967 and is run by a small team that produces fabrics using the traditional silk-screen method. She was also given a lesson in silk-screen techniques.
On this occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a two-piece suit from British designer Bella Freud. She chose the designer’s ‘Earl’ jacket and ‘Schoolboy’ trousers. To support British fashion, she paired her grey Bella Freud tailoring with a simple black sweater from Boden.
Bella Freud Earl jacket and Schoolboy trousers
This a nice suit for this occasion. What an interesting visit, seems it is what she enjoys and has an interest in. Great to see support in the nation’s industry.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great, happy and engaging. This was a wonderful visit. Love her ensemble.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, Ava!
DeleteAbsolutely, same here, @ Ava👍
DeleteThe perfect suit for fall!
ReplyDeleteIt's still summer, NOT fall...
DeleteAha now we understand the dark suit and black tshirt! Fantastic to see her involved in art. What a buzz for a lady with an art history degree!
ReplyDeletePour cette occasion en début d'automne, choix judicieux que ce joli costume !
ReplyDeleteI just want to congratulate Prince Harry on his visit to Kiev.
ReplyDeleteI am not in any position to judge his relationship with the members of the BRF or his life choices but I honor a man that sides so bravely with the oppressed and the wounded soldiers while putting his own safety at risk.
I know my comment will rise disapproval but that's not a big deal.
This is the very first time I speak up so openly about political issues.
It is the case imv, though I know so well this is just a fashion blog.
Thank you, Harry.
What a great comment @P. the original! I stand with you.
DeleteI completely agree with you - his visit to England was also very refreshing, he really wants to make a difference in his own way and I commend him for that - very brave for anyone to go to a war zone. On a fashion note his outfits looked professional yet relaxed ! LRB
DeleteHarry is always dressed well and appropriately. I have no problem with this comment. How can the RF expect support of a nation and be an example of good will when they can’t reconcile and have peace in their own family.
DeleteSomeone will undoubtly say something mean and uneccessary but I agree with you, just so you know.
Delete100% Agreed. Yullia
DeleteI don't buy it.
DeleteIf you want to find my comment "mean", I don't care.
Thank you all for your kind replies.
DeleteThe only thing I do hope is that news bridges between a father and his son could be build up and there could be more room for speech and reconciliation.
Words and hugs are so important and have to be used while there Is still time to look into each other's eyes and forgive the past.
Parents have a marvellous gift sometimes: they forgot and forgive even when they have been deeply hurt or disapppinted by their children.
That's what I wholeheartedly wish for Harry and the King.

Coralie, what is it that you don't buy exactly? I honestly don't understand what you mean. Thank you.
DeleteP. the original. Well said. I agree. I am not here to comment on his family situation either. I too realize this is a fashion blog, sometimes though, its needed to go outside the box so to speak. His visit to Kiev, as you so eloquently put, is of substance and meaning. The situation is dire, a show of light and kindness, will no doubt raise spirits at least for whoever Harry came into contact with. Fabulous comment and on point.
DeleteP.S How are you? Hope you are well and all is good in your part of the world. Keep the comments coming! Sending warm wishes and good thoughts, Hugs from Aussie land!!!
Oh, dear, that's s my favourite Aussie friend @Ava!!
DeleteThank you so much dearest Ava, how wonderful to read your kind, warm words.
You are right, I just stepped out of the box, I put aside my fashionista self and thought It was time to speak my mind about more serious topics.
Prince Harry getting off that train in Kiev touched my heart.
I hope he will be given a second chance by his family.
When I see a man- either a Prince or not - supporting peace and siding with the oppressed, I can't but honor him.
A man putting his own safety at risk to visit people suffering from the ugliness and aftermath of a mindless war deserves my unconditional respect.
...
Dearest Ava, I'm fine and back to work.
How's things?
I hope you are fine and I also send you warm wishes and hugs.
Thank you so much, Ava👍👋
All well and goo, you statements about prince Harry, but why leave them under this particular post?
DeleteT
If his safety were at any risk, he would not have been allowed to go. His visit is to feel useful, not to make any measurable difference; not dissimilar to their visit to the LA fires. I have always liked Harry but he’s truly lost his way in this relationship which has classic signs of narcissistic abuse, with him being isolated from family being only one of a whole cluster of signs. I disagree that the royal family has to reconcile with a wayward son to be supported in the UK. Family dynamics are very different from a country’s dynamics - but that said, I wholeheartedly hope for real reconciliation between Harry and his family.
DeleteThankfully we can all respectfully agree to disagree and not fall out.
DeleteI struggle to view anyone who sells out their family for millions, multiple times, causing unnecessary hurt and anguish as anyone other than not as good and honourable as they’d like to be perceived. Family is family,we love and honour them even when we fall out. We don’t humiliate them. In the services it’s drummed into you honour brotherhood/sisterhood. That mantra seeps into your DNA and you live your life by that mantra. Everyone that is apart from harry.
Lowri.
@ 15:54
DeleteWith all due respect, you can't compare LA fires to a war zone like Kiev where a mindless conflict has been taking place for years now.
Everyone going there in whatever capacity, including journalists, ALL of them, put their own safety at risk and this is a fact.
Kiev is almost a ghost town, bombs falling everywhere there and in so many other places in Ukraine.
I expressed my point of view about reconciliation between Harry and his family but I am fully aware that and entire nation, the United Kingdom, will never forget what has happened inside the BRF.
I am no way justifying Harry's feud with his family, I am not so naive or blind.
I just praise him for visiting the wounded soldiers and supporting the locals in Kiev.
P. the original. Your enthusiasm is bouncing off your words, I love it! I am okay thank you so much. Loving your comments, your knowledge from parts of the world, I will never see and unfortunately don't have much knowledge about. You are educating me, thank you for that. You have done for a while, wide ranging topics, its always so interesting. Keep safe and well Hugs. From Aussie land !!
DeleteDearest @ Ava, thank you so much for your kind and beautiful words.
DeleteI am really happy that you appreciate my enthusiasm and spontainety , which are part of my character.
Oh no, I don't think I am educating you, I just introduced you to some European countries and traditions, (the Scandinavian countries and Italy, for example).
And you have gifted me with your perfect, detailed descriptions of our beloved royal ladies' clothes and juwelry.
I love juwels and have many interesting pieces but I lack all the knowledge you have about gems, size, quality, etc.
Most of them are presents from my family and friends.
By the way, wouldn't it be marvellous if Princess Catherine could visit Italy some day?
I do hope she will get so much stronger and better to make a trip to my homeland.
She would be on cloud nine visiting all those art treasures Italy offers to tourists!
I will keep my finger crossed and I do believe that some dreams can come true.
I guess that the Wales Couple would be welcomed with full honors and the same enthusiasm you see in my words!
If Catherine will ever make this trip to Italy, I am sure I will be there to see her, no matter what my busy working schedule could be.
I admire her a lot.
Hugs to my friend from Aussie Land (and this rhyme is for you!!- you know I love poetry).
Thank you , Ava.
👍👋
* If Catherine should ever make this trip to Italy, I am sure I would be there to see her,...
DeleteRosalyn, you wanted to know what I mean. Let me put it this way: In this whole drama there are two wise statements. One by her late majesty about the recollections that may vary. And one by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, better known as the team of "south park'.
DeleteHow did she do her bun?
ReplyDeleteWonderfull down - to- earth question in this context: love it!!
DeleteShe tied her hair into a simple knot without any bobby pins, I saw a video of it in instagram. It was cleverly done.
Delete@ Zucchina
DeleteThank you for pointing out this clever move from the Princess of Wales.
Of course she couldn't have tied her hair like that if she had had hairpieces, extensions and other " tricks" perched on her head!
Nice look for her. She is a slender everything looks good on her.
ReplyDeletecss
Ah I see that in reverse CSS, she is so slim that it’s hard to find things they flatter. I hope very much as she heals she can regain some weight.
DeleteCommenting on another person in this extensive way is, IMHO, pure trolling against the person who this post is about. I don't quite get why Helen tolerates this misuse.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous 10:47
DeleteI can't get what your comments is on.
I simply talked about Prince Harry here because I can't see any post related to his visit to Kiev.
That's all.
I am all for the Princess of Wales and I still remember how much she supported by simple her simple gestures a reconciliation between William and Harry during the late Queen's s funerai.
I'm referring to Catherine stepping back while walking with William and let the two brothers get side by side.
She must have thought It wise to give them way somehow.
I can't t know that for sure but I bet that Catherine is also a woman of peace and would support a reconciliation between the brothers.
There's no trolling when it comes to peace.
You can find all the trolling on other posts in a more extensive and also rude way, especially when commenting on Catherine's body features and hair.
Harry is still part of the BRF, after all, and Is a British Prince by birth.
If you do not agree with how the comments here are conducted , you can skip over everything and choose other topics.
By the way, I would at least have signed with a nick your strange comment.
@10:47 yes she (or they? … we cannot tell how many people or who is behind the blog) tolerates these diversions very well! I don’t find your comment strange - but the other commenter does whenever you state an opinion about her comments that is opposite to her own ;-)
DeleteAnon 10.47 On a fashion blog, detailed commentary about public figures style choices is kind of the whole point. It’s not trolling, it’s engaging with the subject matter.
Delete@P. The Original, you wrote: "I simply talked about Prince Harry here because I can't see any post related to his visit to Kiev." Prince Harry's visit to Kiev has simply and obviously nothing to do with (1) fashion and/or (2) the topic of this specific blog post. Why do you try to explain in so many words the unexplainable absurdity of you trolling this strictly Catherine-related blogpost.
ReplyDelete@ 19:23
DeleteFor you and all the people using the word " trolling" not in the proper way and applying this ugly term to me
(which I entirely reject), here is a claryfication for you.
TROLLING | English meaning - Cambridge Dictionary https://share.google/Njzm6DH9H1qYwxqoU
I can't relate to any of the given definitions above.
Conversely, as I have already said, there's a lot of trolling on many other Catherine- related posts but you don't seem to spot them..
Have you ever realized to what extent some people walk the red line pretending they are talking about a royal woman's outfit while they are actually bodyshaming her, as is also the case with Catherine?
So, you'd better take some time to apply your trolling narrative to people humilitiating the Princess of Wales' body shape and physical aspect in general on a number of posts, for example.
I have admired Catherine for a long time now and still do , as can be seen in other posts related to her royal engagements, where she has always received benevolent comments on my part.
Since neither you nor anybody else here is the owner of this blog, let the real blog administrators decide whether to let my posts get past the filter or not.
I simply added my own personal considerations re: P.Harry' s very recent visit to Kiev.
If you don't agree , that's no big deal.
As to my " fashion review" about Catherine here, I had already explained my point of in my comment above submitted at 12:42.
I do not owe the readers any further explanation.
At least I have the courage to sign my posts with my usual nick .
I do not hide anywhere behind anonimity.
