The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, is currently in the UK for an official State Visit as the guests of the King and Queen. On September 18, 2025, the Princess of Wales and First Lady Melania Trump toured the gardens of Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate, where they met with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels programme.
For this outdoor engagement, First Lady Melania Trump wore a suede safari jacket by Ralph Lauren, paired with stone-colored trousers from Loro Piana. The Princess of Wales, who has been Joint President of the Scout Association, wore a chocolate brown A-line midi skirt, a cropped khaki jacket by ME + EM, and a knit vest by the same brand.
Too much volume on Catherine with the bow and skirt. Melania Trump is spot on day in the park outfit.
ReplyDeleteon another Frogmore cottage is where Prince Andrew resides, this background will only bring back Epstein stories that the Trumps are trying to avoid!
I think that's just a bit of a stretch. Fortunately neither of the ladies seem to find the location problematic.

Both ladies look wonderful and the children are adorable.
Love Melania's slim trousers, Catherine's hunter green jacket/ blouse and dark chocolate skirt as well.

ReplyDeleteMelania's RL jacket is very 'pockety". It would be functional if you have a lot of stuff to carry. You don't need a purse with so many large size pockets. Kate's is the exact opposite- very minimal especially in length. Interesting that both ladies opted for suede. I would love to see both of these ladies cut their hair to shoulder length. I think their hairstyles look too messy. Kate actually makes Melania (a very tall woman) look short in these pictures.

ReplyDeleteBoth look wonderful. I like the rich color combination of Kate's outfit. I don't know that the scarf was necessary. Maybe I would like it more in a different, complimentary color. Melania is dressed down chic. I must say, it looks like these two women get along well. I also think Kate has brought out a side of Melania we don't see often. She looks so happy and comfortable with the children. It is good to see this side of her.
ReplyDeleteThe scarf: I have read some days ago that small/skinny scarfs are back in fashion, some of them even looking like a tie. Catherine visited a mill some days ago and this small scarf was a present to her. I like it anyway, beautiful colour and good with this jacket.
