Queen Máxima completed her 2025 Annual Report in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). On September 25, Queen Máxima presented the report to UN Secretary-General António Guterres during the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York. Princess Amalia was also present at the meeting to observe her mother’s UN work. The meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
On this occasion, Queen Máxima wore the 'Adikia' dress by Altuzarra, which she has worn a few times before. Princess Amalia, meanwhile, wore Max Mara’s striped linen-blend 'Rodeo' vest paired with matching trousers, an outfit previously seen on her sister Princess Ariane.
Zebra.
ReplyDeletePrincess Anita looks good in stripe!
ReplyDeleteAnita?
DeletePrincess Anita is the wife of one of King W. Alexander's cousins and daughter in law of Princess Margriet.
DeletePrincess Amalia has found something to rewear from her sister's wardrobe again, great. Looking good although the vest is a little bit tight for her.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima's dress looks interesting. Though I like more
the color combination on the model with more visible dark green in front of the dress.
Yes, a little snug, but what a transformation! She is looking fabulous and obviously has more confidence in her appearance.
Delete@Zucchina: I agree with your comments. I too like the green tie-and-dye style dress, and I think the dark green panels of the skirt fall differently on Maxima because her waist area is broader than the model's waist, so the panels stretched out further to the side. Also the top part of Maxima's dress is a different pattern than the model's dress. What I don't like is the shoulder fabric pattern on the back of the models dress. It reminds me of skeleton bones, lol. :)

La mère et la fille sont aussi bling bling l'une que l'autre.
ReplyDeleteQM: just an awfull dress: colours and cut.
ReplyDeleteAmalia dressed for a day to the beach ( a bit too tight).
It is a pity: they both started this stay so good in their suits.
P A , nice!
ReplyDeleteMaxima’s dress pattern reminds me of tie-dye t-shirts at summer camp - which maybe isn’t quite the look for the UN. Amalia’s outfit is nice, but doesn’t look like it fits her well in the bust area.

So ein kleines Knöpfchen abtrennen und nach außen versetzen, wahrscheinlich zeitlich kein Platz für solche kleinen Arbeiten in der Prinzessinnenschule. - Dorothe -
ReplyDeleteHer sister's jacket is too tight for Amalia. Or what sometimes happened in the past with Maxima's clothes that after washing them the clothes
ReplyDeleteAfter the borrowed mini dress and now the borrowed two pieces
Once I read on a Dutch website about the royals that sometimes they buy 1 dress for the three of them. With the wider shape of the dresses lately that should be possible. Of course now that Queen Maxima, CP Amalia and P Alexia are slimmer than before, it could become difficult to wear each other clothes. P Ariane the youngest is now the tallest of the 3 sisters and taller than her mother. Exchanging clothes can become really difficult. I can imagine Queen Maxima and her 3 daughters having fun while trying on each others clothes.
ReplyDeleteThis morning September 26th Queen Maxima of The Netherlands received together with King Willem-Alexander the president of Indonesia. She doesn't look tired at alll, maybe she can sleep well in a plane.
ReplyDeleteNooo, Amalia, this is no good. It is a very bold design for anyone to wear, and only few people can pull it off. This outfit needs a lean person, a darker complexion and a good dose of charisma. It also needs a more casual context. And most of all, it needs to fit. The fit of the vest is so bad on Amalia, and the stripes make it extra visible. I cannot comprehend that no-one noticed that before she went out.
ReplyDeleteMaxima´s dress is also a questionable choice for the occasion. When did people stop dressing for business?
