On September 18, 2025, Queen Máxima attended a meeting in Amsterdam to mark the 40th anniversary of the Netherlands Brain Bank (NHB). Afterwards, Queen Máxima visited two laboratories of the Brain Bank where brain tissue is processed and stored. The Brain Bank collects brain tissue from deceased donors and makes it available to scientists worldwide. Scientific research on this tissue provides greater insight into the functioning of the brain.
The Netherlands Brain Bank collects brain tissue from both healthy donors and donors with physical or mental disorders. By comparing the control group with other groups, researchers gain insights into how brain disorders can be slowed down or even stopped. On this occasion, Queen Máxima wore a green silk dress from Natan’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
Oh dear. Great color on her but is she headed to a luau? All she needs now is a flower lei…
ReplyDeleteAll those hats it is so dated. Next time a helmet? Stick with the clothes. Those fringes do nothing for her.
ReplyDeleteBut she looks engaged and happy and feels good in it that's what counts.
Can any experts explain what that is she is wearing
ReplyDeleteJ'adore la couleur vert anis de cette robe mais pas du tout les franges !
ReplyDeleteWell, I like the hat. Q. Max wears these big hats very well. The dress however has too many competing elements - draping, fringe, uneven hemline - and the overall effect is discordant to say the least. Yikes! (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteOh dear!
ReplyDeleteThis would have to be just about the most ridiculous dress
I have ever seen a royal lady wear.
The culprit of course is Natan.
Wow incredible! I love the fun in her style! She is a one of a kind.
