On September 30, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited Esbjerg Municipality, where she attended an event at Esbjerg Gymnasium in connection with the Mary Foundation’s initiative Lift. The day began at Esbjerg Gymnasium, where The Queen, together with Mary Foundation Director Helle Østergaard, took part in conversations with students about their experiences and reflections on loneliness.

This was followed by a visit to Ungehuset, where Queen Mary of Denmark met with counselors and young people who have participated in the Lift program and gained insight into how support and community can make a difference. The visit in Esbjerg concluded at Platformen, a cultural and community center, where Queen Mary met with partners and representatives from municipalities and foundations.

The Mary Foundation’s Lift project brings together municipalities, upper secondary schools, research institutions, and existing support services to develop joint solutions tailored to the needs of young people experiencing loneliness. Lift was developed by the Mary Foundation in collaboration with municipalities, organizations, and associations, and was launched in 2023.

    1. Yes original and sweet. Initially I was not really positive about the color of her outfit, but yes ok, suits her quite well.

I don't think the trousers are a good color combination with the pullover.
    Two dull colors together, no.
Pink with grey or a creme/white with the brown.

Oh I just came to say the opposite! This is European winter class! Dark grey wool trousers and a dark coloured jumper with or without a white collar is absolutely beautiful and very classic here. This is one of my favourite Mary outfits for a long time. I particularly like the lower boots in black with the dark grey.

    1. What are you asking? Are you really interested in her discourse or trying to diminish her?

She was there with her foundation on the topic of loneliness and how community makes all the difference. Very important stuff don’t you agree?

    4. "solutions tailored to the needs of young people experiencing loneliness" sounds worth some discussions, also with her as a mother of 4.

I came across a photo of her when Princess Isabella was born , her hair was so pretty. This is okay given it is the style. Not sure if I like this outfit, but boy do those pants fit her perfectly

It is a fact that in the collections for the Autumn and Winter 2025-26 in Europe one can find a lot of dark colors again, which are combined with other dark colors, but also with lighter colors. There is also a combination of grey with a beautiful blue, lighter than royal blue but darker than light blue. There is a lot of brown, wine red, dark purple, aubergine, dark green, dark khaki, grey from dark to light grey and striped or checkered grey, a lovely blue as described above,.... The art is to find the right combination of colors which suit the lady who wish to wear it.
