On September 12, 2025, Queen Letizia presided over the opening of the 2025/2026 school year in the town of Rincón de Soto, La Rioja. The Queen attended the official ceremony at the Centro de Educación Infantil y Primaria (C.E.I.P.) Entresotos and the Sección del Instituto de Educación Secundaria (S.I.E.S.) Gonzalo de Berceo.
Upon her arrival at C.E.I.P. Entresotos, Queen Letizia was welcomed by the President of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, Gonzalo Capellán; the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sport, Pilar Alegría; the President of the Parliament of La Rioja, Marta Fernández Cornago; and the Mayor of Rincón de Soto, Javier Martínez.
ADOLFO DOMINGUEZ pleated straight shirt
I like this shirt, and I might actually prefer it untucked. Very nice both ways.

À jealous making blouse!
ReplyDeleteAll Spanish ladies well dressed!
The Queen is dressed in a casual chic attire - perfect for a school opening - appears very approachable. Love the blouse with rolled up sleeves. But those shoes do nothing for her ; however, she must like them, she has them in at least two colors. Love the style of the lady's yellow suit, except for the too short pants.
ReplyDeleteThe shirt looks smart. I like the neckline and the way Letizia's rolled up the sleeves. I think it looks better tucked in rather than left loose. The pleating is original & unusual and the shoes are cute. The "hair police' might come after me but I think her hair is too long and messy looking. She could benefit from a trim of maybe 4 inches.
ReplyDeleteDear Sandra, I totally agree, her hair is too long and unflattering. I don’t think queen Sofia ever appeared in public with rolled-up sleeves.

I agree regarding her hair. What I do like about it is that she has a thin band that holds it away from her face, so she is not constantly touching or flicking it back.
DeleteIts such a subtle but smart styling choice. That thin headband keeps her look neat and composed, especially during public engagements where constant hairflicking could be distracting or seem less polished. Its a great example of how Letizia blends practicality with elegance.
DeleteFor some reason I hadn't realized it had gotten this long! I'm a bit shocked and also think she could do with a trim. Not a bob or anything too short but definitely an inch or two.
Delete"...she is not constantly touching or flicking it back."
DeleteOMG, that is soooo annoying!
Après avoir agrandi une photo, j'ai pu mieux voir cette chemise ; si je devais la porter, ce serait sans la rentrer dans le pantalon comme par le mannequin !
ReplyDeleteNice outfit but wished the pants was a bit longer.

I love this blouse. The pleating of the bodice adds interest and definition to the blouse. Love the colors. Her sleeves rolled up, nice! I like the pants, but I think its the shoes that make the overall look a bit jarring. I do realize the Queen has feet problems, probably these shoes are comfortable and help her foot issue. I agree about her hair as others have commented. A while ago she had her hair cut shorter and she looked incredible. Years ago, her hair was a lot shorter, again she looked beautiful, not saying she doesn't now, but the difference from then and now is striking.
ReplyDeleteI think that Queen Letitia was enjoys playing around with some hair pieces for the fun of it. About two weeks ago she was photographed with her usual length of perfectly groomed all one length hair about 10 cm below shoulder level. Today she has a "just out of bed I did not brush it" much longer style with a hair band. No ones hair grows that fast. I think she is just having fun with extra hair pieces now and again. Perhaps the band helps to hold the extra hair in place. or disguise where she has clipped it in. It is not the first time I have wonderd at how fast her hair seems to grow because of similar photographs in the past.
Paloma.
She looks like an old maid with her long hair with grey inlay.
ReplyDeleteShe dresses smart but needs to look for a more mature look. If she adds some kilo's she's perfect.
Queen Letizia embraces elegance and authenticity. Her natural hair and slim figure reflect confidence, not conformity. Style evolves, but grace is timeless, and she wears it well.
