Seeing the first photo I thought oh this is nice. The second photo, did not like the pants that short, an odd length. Then seeing the heaviness of the top with the fabric of the pants, makes it a no for me.

    1. I thought the same thing. The top looks wintery and warm whilte the pants look summery and cool. It's an odd combination.

Some people love the contrast between heavier and lighter fabrics as a way to play with seasonal boundaries or textures. That kind of styling can be intentional, even if it doesn’t land with everyone.

    -Astrid.

Both for pants and skirts valid: this length cuts the legs at their thinnest part. It looks kind of - sorry, for me, fashion or not fashion, I don't care: a bit ridiculous, on everyone - even on beautiful Letizia. If the top was nice, well ... but heavy tweed and armless, no ... I simply don't like what she chose for this occasion, not the parts and not the whole thing.

This is a no for me. Although I didn't like the long maxi dress with the espadrilles from "Antik Batik" she wore yesterday, it was much better than what she is wearing today.

A very unbecoming shoe for her foot, proportions all off.

Not the shoes for you perhaps 20:05? I love them and would gladly own them.

Nice vest would look better with sleeves maybe. Not keen on the pant would look better a little longer.

Love the vest and the fringed hem, but not with those summer - too short - pants.

    1. Anon at 07:39, thank you for your comment. The APRAMP organisation's work is very important to the abused women and I have read very much about it and it's achievements.

Queen Letizia has earlier worn a beautiful red-black jacket ot the same fabrik as this vest. Her pants are exactly the length they are meant to be. Some other women in the pictures are also wearing pants in the same length. I'm sure this combination looks much better at the event than in these pictures.

This Is a post where my fashionista self has to be set to silence.
Kudos to Queen Letizia for this great, meaningful visit.
      No further words needed.

  11. As for fashion I also think this is not her best look. But the cause is so very important!
