On Thursday, September 4, 2025, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway took part in the celebration of Filmparken’s 90th anniversary. On the occasion of the jubilee, “Studio B” at Filmparken in Jar, Bærum, was renamed “Studio Liv Ullmann.” Actress Liv Ullmann, one of the great stars of Norwegian film history, was present at the ceremony. The first film produced in Studio B at Filmparken was Ingmar Bergman’s Autumn Sonata, in which Liv Ullmann played one of the leading roles.
Filmparken in Jar was established in 1935 and has been closely intertwined with the history of Norwegian cinema ever since. The first film shot there was Tancred Ibsen’s You Promised Me Your Wife (Du har lovet meg din kone) in 1935, and since then a large number of films and series have been produced at the site. To this day, Filmparken offers facilities for all types of film, photography, and television productions. In 2024, Filmparken was recognized by the European Film Academy as a European cultural treasure.
I love this outfit: great colour combination, well fitted and appropriate!
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me happy to see couples matching!
MM looks very well and happy too! 😊
Well said, agree with you.
DeleteI am surprised that Mette Marit looks so fresh and engaging although she must be terribly burdened by her health and family problems, about which we can read elsewhere.

Are you saying she is not dressed well, since this is a fashion blog? We do not know her personally.
DeleteWhat do you expect her to do? Sit home and cry instead of doing her job? But what has her health and son to do with this event or her outfit?
DeleteWhat a thoughtful comment Virginia. Versus the comment of 17:32… why are you responding so aggressively to a well written kind comment? You could still make the point you want to make kindly.
DeleteThoughtful where? And 17:32 comment was not aggressively written. -Sarah
DeletePublic life demands accountability. If one chooses to live in the public eye, one must uphold a certain standard of conduct and accept that any missteps will be subject to scrutiny. Selective privacy is not a luxury afforded to those in the spotlight.
DeleteLovely pant suit. Her hair is a nice length and colour.
ReplyDeleteMM looks lovely. Love this outfit and hair .
ReplyDeleteQuite agree!
DeleteMagnifique association du violet avec le blanc de ce pantalon ; j'adore le blond de ses cheveux qu'elle a raccourcis !
ReplyDeleteWhat’s not to love! Perfectly fitted cream trouser with a waist length navy jacket! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLowri.
The beautiful princess looks beautiful, and I admire her grit!
ReplyDeleteI love the combo of two sharp colors - though the photos contradict the exact color of her jacket.
And personally, I think everyone should refrain from any comments about the family's personal situation. We've heard enough, and even though if well intentioned, sometimes they come across as snarky.

Agree Virginia. We do not know these people personally, so just comment on the fashion
DeleteI agree on all points, @ Virginia Dogwood.
DeleteP. Mette- Marit looks simply marvellous in this white/ navy combo.
Her gorgeous platinum blonde hair is the cherry on the cake.
She looks healthy and happy and that's what really matters.
P. Haakon is dapper as always
Well said, Virginia!
DeleteAnon 03.06 By choosing a public life, one implicitly accepts being the subject of public discourse.
DeleteYet, not the subject of public scolding.
DeleteAnon 07.10 One cannot pick and choose, either one lives a public life or one does not.
DeletePerfectly dressed from top to toe.
ReplyDeleteCP Mette-Marit looks so beautiful on these photos. She has a sun tan and her hair is so gorgeous. Her navy jacket and white pants are classic and fits well. I like the white simple envelope bag.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Sometimes she gets her outfits so wrong, but this one is really good, fits her well, and reflects her personality well, I think.
