King Felipe and Queen Letizia, together with Crown Princess Leonor, are on a two-day official visit to the province of Navarre. Officially known as the Chartered Community of Navarre, it is an autonomous community and province in northern Spain. This marks Princess Leonor’s first official visit to Navarre as Princess of Viana, one of the traditional titles of the heir to the Spanish Crown.
The day began in Pamplona with a visit to the Palace of Navarre, the seat of the regional government. Upon their arrival, they were welcomed by María Chivite, President of Navarre; Elma Saiz, Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration; Unai Hualde, President of the Parliament of Navarre; and Alicia Echeverría, Government Delegate in Navarre.
The King, Queen, and Princess Leonor, signed the Golden Book of the Palace of Navarre to commemorate their visit. Later, they toured the Monastery of San Salvador de Leyre, a site of great historical and cultural importance. Located south of the Sierra de Leyre in northern Navarre, the monastery is one of the region’s most significant religious landmarks.

Big contrast in Spain. The local authorities in their summer dresses and Queen Letizia and P Leonor in their winter pant-suits. I like Queen Letizia's wine red pant suit and hand bag.
ReplyDeleteThe people from the North are less sensitive to the cold than the people living in Madrid. Min temperature in Pamplona today 7C , max 19C...
DeleteMost likely, when the Queen’s coming for a visit, you dress in your best dress. Whether it’s more summery or wintry doesn’t really matter in autumn.

Very nice pantsuits of both Letizia and Princess Leonor. They are the right size, elegant and decent. Definitely an inspiration for me.
ReplyDeletePlus, the other ladies at the event are nicely dressed - a lady in a cream dress and a lady in a polka dot dress.

Both Letizia and Leonor look lovely and professional. And Felipe never disappoints…always well groomed and very handsome.
ReplyDeleteElégant tailleur Bordeaux à la veste cintrée que Letizia porte sur un haut noir !
ReplyDeletePrincess Leonor look very much like her father, the King, to me. A lovely young woman.

The burgundy pantsuit worn by Letizia looks great, it fits well and the pants are not too baggy. Her accessories color is perfect Leonor looks equally lovely, so stylish. Her accessory game is excellent. The King is well groomed as he always is and attired, a very handsome man.
ReplyDeleteShe’s a very impressive young lady CP Lenor. I admire her service in the various branches of the armed services.
ReplyDeleteI like the navy suit. The jacket without an under top gives it a less ‘siff’ look. The trouser sits nicely on the shoe. I think HMQ is a stickler for attention to detail and it shows not only in her own personnel choices but those of her daughter.
The burgundy pant suit, is perfect for her slim frame.
Lowri.
Leonor , please, not Lenor.
DeleteYes Leonor is really impressive as a CrPrincess, in terms of professionalism, kindness and at the same time elegant dressing style.
DeleteLove and covet the Queen’s suit! Also find the charcoal suit with the black jumper (on the lady giving the tour) to be very nice.
