On September 17, 2025, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, accompanied by Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, hosted a dinner for members of the Government at Berg Castle. This traditional institutional meal was the last hosted by Grand Duke Henri in his capacity as Head of State.
Having delegated some of his powers to his eldest son and heir apparent, Guillaume, in 2024, Grand Duke Henri is set to abdicate in his favour on October 3, 2025. On Friday, October 3, and Saturday, October 4, historic celebrations will be held to mark the change of throne, with Prince Guillaume becoming Grand Duke of Luxembourg. The festivities will conclude on Sunday, October 5, with a Te Deum at Notre-Dame Cathedral.
P. Stephanie looks wonderful here with her casual hairstyle and her relaxed yet elegant velvet outfit. I hope they enjoy their new roles. I've always had the impression that GD Maria Teresa is a rather domineering woman and it will be nice to see S and G put their own stamp on things. (V.M.)

ردحذفWow, both the Grand Duchess and the Hereditary Grand Duchess look fantastic from head to toe. I can hardly wait for October. I wonder if the Wales' will represent King Charles or whether it will be the Princess Royal or maybe the Edinburgh's. I'm also curious as to whether the young reigning European royals will be attending or sending their heirs.

Princess Stéphanie is looking very good in her new fashion outfit. The wine red color of jacket and pants even the new shoes are splendid. Her hair is looking good too.

ردحذفTwo weeks until GD Henri steps. I’m sure there must be much going on behind the scenes. I hope when Stephanie steps into the top job she brings with her a trusted styler. She’ll need someone especially at the beginning to dress the part especially when representing your country on the global stage.
