On September 27, 2025, Charlotte Casiraghi attended the prestigious Opening Gala of the Dance Season at the Palais Garnier in Paris, an event that brings together ballet enthusiasts and cultural figures to celebrate the start of the new season. For the occasion, Charlotte Casiraghi wore a dress from Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2024/25 Haute Couture collection. Chanel has been a major patron of the Paris Opera’s Opening Gala since 2018.
Chanel Fall-Winter 2024-25 Haute Couture

-Astrid.
She’s beautiful - but the Channel dress seems to be … well more experimental and unfinished than something you’d see from a long established brand.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she is beautiful. Her face is nice and very photogenic but she has no décolletée, very boney indeed.
DeleteI don't find this dress attractive or appealing at all.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Casiraghi - what a beauty! Coco Chanel would be proud!
ReplyDeleteReally?
DeleteYes, I do think so!
DeleteI'm with you, @Coralie. Very beautiful and ethereal dress that suits Charlotte perfectly. Chanel can have many different styles in clothes and go forward. No fashion house should relay only on certain formulas, they don't bring new customers.
DeleteCharlotte is also one of those few people for whom a tighter hairstyle suits. She has such flawless facial features.
The dress is nice but she should have done better with her hair.
ReplyDeleteDisagree. I've always thought that Charlotte is a free spirit. That hairstyle suits her.
DeleteBut then of course I also love the wonderful hairstyles of Catherine and Mary. The important thing is always that it suits the ladys personality.
Coralie - yes - exactly. The hair to match the personality!
DeleteWhat an exciting lovely dress. It's so playful and modern with the different materials combining so well
ReplyDeleteOh dear; what a dissapointment this dress is. Is it really Chanel?
ReplyDeleteTotally agree… so awfull. This is not a royal dress…. But okay she is is just an extra in the royal family
DeleteAgree. Ugly dress, especially the colour.
Deletetheir not royal either
DeleteStunningly beautiful. Yullia
ReplyDeleteReally??????
DeleteNo, not at all!
Paloma.
The top transparent part stretching over the shoulders looks somewhat messy to me. Do those straps (two of them visible on one side, one beside and one under the transparent fabric) belong to the dress or are they part of her bra? Untidy details, the dress could be nice without this piece of fabric being transparent. As for her hairstyle: I have a growing sympathy for women who do away with hairstyles that require endless preparation - and what comes out of that, looks less and less natural with each step. Sometimes nice for a big occasion - but cannot we value beauty without artificially blown up hairstyles? Just my twopence.
ReplyDeleteThe bodice of the dress reminds of the 20s and the charleston. The skirt is too long to wear as a charleston dress which were shorter and narrower and had a lower waist than usual. This dress can be worn as a cocktail dress. But I don't like the way it is made especially the bodice. Can she buy the Chanel dresses at a reduced price since it was fashion about a year ago (Winter 2024-25) ? Or maybe she can just borrow them since she is working for the brand.
ReplyDeleteRich never buy … the brands
Deletelent or give clothes bags etc ( the same when a lot of célébrités don’t give back…😂)

DeleteI do not agree with you. What about all the queens and princesses who are rewearing dresses and outfits which are 10 years old like Queen Maxima of The Netherlands. Queen Mary of Denmark who had several of her gala dresses restored and is still wearing them ? It is possible that the ladies of the aristocratie can sometimes borrow a dress by their go to designer, but not all the time. If this was the case there would be a lot of designers who had no work anymore. It is not the average lady who is going to buy the expensive dresses and outfits by Chanel, Dior, or at one of their colleagues.
I, too, am rather puzzled and disappointed by that dress. The materials aren´t bad and the idea has potential, but the overall execution leaves a lot to be desired. My main problem is the positioning of neckline and waistline, both of which are too low for me. I´d like to bring the whole dress up by 3cm at least, possibly even 5cm. That would allow for a more defined waist and also have a positive impact on the hemline, then ending up just under her knees.
ReplyDeleteThe next problem are those straps. They are meant to look sheer, I guess, but loose? Or is that right shoulder strap torn? And lastly, the hemline really didn´t need that long overlay. I get that it is meant to mirror the sheer straps but it does make for a sloppy look, like someone literally wrapped that sheer fabric on top in a last minute afterthought.
I love her!
ReplyDeleteQuite the fashion statement ...
DeleteI love her too. But no taste for fashion. So ugly in this dress. . So much more beautiful in classic fashion
DeleteI like the outfit, fits her well and suits her personality.
ReplyDeleteCH
Do you know her personally? Or does your knowledge come from glossy people magazines or fashion newsletters?
Froufrou
Not my style, but she must like it. Have not seen her in a while.

ReplyDeleteThe dress is typically Chanel; simple overlays, The dress looks so much nicer on Charlotte than the model (Tara)
ReplyDeleteThis is a typical example of a valid concept left there undone.
ReplyDeleteThe result is a failed execution of what could have been a gorgeous dress.
While the lower, layered tulle part of this outfit looks good, the upper part is a miss imv.
I would get rid of the mesh overlay and leave the silver sequined (?), off the shoulder shimmering bodice underneath free to shine .
One can never go wrong with a silver/ black combo.
Regardless, Charlotte looks beautiful.
Wow. An uninspired shapeless 'dress' that has a designer name is still an uninspired shapeless dress. It does nothing for the model or Charlotte. She's lovely but even she looks uninspired by this Chanel.
