On the evening of August 19, President of Vietnam Luong Cuong and his spouse, Nguyễn Thị Minh Nguyệt, hosted a State Banquet at the International Convention Center in Hanoi in honor of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema are undertaking a five-day State Visit to Vietnam from August 18 to 22 at the invitation of President Luong Cuong.

ردحذفAh… Asia is such a massive area and with so so many different countries, cultural norms and styles … difficult to say “Asian fashion” is anything at all when it’s just so varied. But I do agree that the clothes here by the Bhutanese and Vietnamese are very beautiful! Except I do worry for the warmth of the King’s boots … what works in a Himalayan nation isn’t so good in the humidity of Hanoi!
حذفAnon1444. Re kings boots, I am sure he is used to putting national dress in any climate. He may only have them on for a short amount of time and maybe even in an air conditioned room.
