On Friday, August 29, 2025, Queen Margrethe of Denmark attended the opening gala of the 2025 Aarhus Festival. Since the festival’s inception in 1965, Queen Margrethe has taken part, and this year’s opening also marked the 60th anniversary of her involvement. Upon arrival, the Queen was welcomed by the Mayor of Aarhus Municipality, Anders Winnerskjold.
The official opening took place at Aarhus Theatre. The main theme of this year’s festival, Mind the Gap, emphasizes the importance of awareness and respect for change, both in Aarhus and in society. The 2025 Aarhus Festival runs from August 29 to September 7.

Strong colours are especially favourable in old age. White, like her blouse, not so much, but the blouse makes up for that with other spectacular details. She has a nice figure with a small waist and can wear whatever she wants to.

ردحذفLove the colour and fabric of her skirt. It is just the right length for her proportions, it has movement which enhances to the Rick colour. Beautiful blouse and jewels. The black ribbon type belt just finishes it off. Almost a national costume look.
