On August 18, 2025, Princess Marie of Denmark visited The Villa in Frederiksberg, where Positivgruppen has been based since 1987 (Positivgruppen, a support and patient association for HIV-positive people). The Princess was welcomed by Chairman Martin Hønholt Carlsen, Vice Chairman John Allan Jensen, member Herluf Tirsbæk, among others. This year, Positivgruppen is also marking its 40th anniversary.Positivgruppen was founded in 1985 as a drop-in center and patient association for HIV-positive men, a group that in the early years often faced discrimination and stigmatization. The villa at Tesdorpfsvej 23 was made available by Frederiksberg’s then-mayor John Winther, and since 1987 the group has had permanent premises there.Since then, the house has developed into an important support network, providing self-help opportunities, social activities, theme days, and educational initiatives. Today, it is still run by volunteers and serves as a place where members can find support, community, and an open space free from prejudice.
Princess Marie looks fresh and summery. She is always dressed appropriately using her go-to formula of classic tailored staples in low-key plain and neutral colours. I think she has been wearing this blazer style (which suits her) pretty much unchanged for two decades.
ReplyDeleteJust one thing though....I would love to see her more often add a touch of variety to her "work uniform"; a dash of colour or print, or a more on-trend cut and design, (I'm thinking of CP Victoria's wardrobe, or Queen Mary's) are elements which this attractive princess could certainly pull off. Princess Marie is wearing 3 colours that are really on trend during the summer of 2025 : light blue (blazer), light beige (trousers), white (top).
DeleteAlthough she is not tall she managed to find clothes that are on trend and still elegant like the trousers which have the perfect width. The blazer which have the perfect length. The proportions are O.K. She doesn't need to copy Victoria or Mary, she is just fine like she is and has that French feeling for style and elegance.
The very pale blue jacket, I love. It fits well, the style suits her well. She looks lovely, Casual but smart.
ReplyDeleteLa princesse Marie a su choisir des vêtements légers afin d’opter pour un style décontracté et estival ; petit bémol au niveau de la veste que j'aurais vue plus courte en nous montrant mieux la ceinture !
ReplyDeleteVery nice colour combo. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to see this elegant and charming lady!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit. So nice to see her again. The children are so grown up. Are they still in the US or back in Denmark?
