Peter Phillips has announced his engagement to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling. Two photos showing Harriet Sperling displaying her engagement ring as she embraces Peter Phillips were released to mark the occasion. A statement issued on behalf of the couple said: "Both families were informed jointly of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement." No official date has been set for the wedding yet.

Their statement read: "Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, and Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have confirmed their official engagement."

Peter Phillips is believed to have started dating Harriet Sperling in 2024. The couple made their public debut at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024. Phillips was previously married to Autumn Kelly. For the photo shoot, Harriet Sperling wore a matching white cotton cheesecloth top and skirt set by the British label Me+Em.
