In her shirt are shades of pink and maroon. Those are not colors in a rainbow. While the rainbow colors of red, orange, and violet are not in her shirt. So, no....... no rainbow here.

But even if she were in a rainbow, that’s so cute to be with kids, and rainbows existed long long before they were associated with Gay Pride. It’s completely ok to use rainbow colours as you wish when you wish and not have them associated with a cause!

I saw a video clip released by the NRF of this event. It was wonderful--Queen Sonja and CP Mette-Marit were painting children's faces, Haakon and M-M were playing games with the children, and everyone was playing and having so much fun. What a joyous event! As for fashion--Queen Sonja looks elegant, M-M is dressed very colorfully which is great for interacting with children but I think the boxy jacket isn't flattering at all and, paired with the wide-leg yellow trousers, the whole look is too boxy. But the idea of this celebration is marvelous!

I love this! There’s just something so special about the Norwegian Royal family. They are relaxed in each other’s company and always seem to relate well to everyone they meet. CP MM’s colourful jacket is perfect for this event. (V.M.)

Both royal ladies look beautiful in their choice of jacket. Though I do like the rainbow jacket paired perfectly with the cream trouser.

I am wanting to like the multicoloured jacket, it seems to be brighter colors than the model. It is perfect for an event with children, but can’t say I would looks to see it again. Green is a good colour for the queen.

… from the sun, as we all tend to. Then she puts her sunglasses up on her head when needed, as well all tend to.

I think Mette Marrit is dressed very appropriately to mix in with the people and kids. If I could change one thing, it would be to have the trousers more fitted and less wide, because the jacket already gives the width to outfit and is enough flair.

I bet those loose pants are very cool to wear in summer. People worry so much about looking a bit wider or heavier when it probably looks just fine when there is movement.
